A/N: Random note here, there's going to be some adjustments and stuff on this chapter. Just some added development and a foreshadowing for Shiro (Masakatsu)

Ayanokouji POV

So, this is what losing feels like.

I suppose losing is part of the experience that humans have to endure every once in a while.

I've always seen myself as a winner.

Guess this time.

I've finally learned how to lose.

Everyone decided to do their own thing for a bit since the school gave us a 1-week vacation.

As I wandered through the lobby trying to plan our next move.

I suddenly passed by a sad looking Ishizaki.

I haven't seen him for some time.

My only assumption is that ever since Ryuen left.

He's probably in a more depressed mood compared to his usual self.

I decided to approach him and ask some questions.

"Ishizaki."

"Huh? Ayanokouji-san?!"

"Yes."

"Oh shit. It's been a while huh?" he said trying to sound happy to see me, but he wore a sad smile.

"I know Ryuen leaving must be tough for you." I said.

"Huh?"

"I heard you have a new weapon in your class."

"What are you talking about?"

"Kazami Yuuji."

"Ohh the new guy. *sigh* what the hell am I supposed to do? Ryuen-san betrayed us. Even Albert isn't speaking a word even once since he left. He never talks much but he's never said a single word since Ryuen-san left." Ishizaki explained.

I then saw tears slowly dripping from his eyes.

"Sorry, I need to be alone. Nice meeting you again Ayanokouji-san!" he then suddenly ran off.

Ishizaki has always been loyal to Ryuen.

Even to the point where Ishizaki considers Ryuen his friend.

Now that he's in Hikigaya's class.

He really felt betrayed.

I continued my walk as another person passed me by.

But I stopped as I felt a strange presence in that person.

3rd person POV

???: Hello, Ayanokouji-senpai.

Ayanokouji: You know me?

???: So, you finally lost. Never thought I would see the day but then again. It was inevitable, no one can win forever you know.

Ayanokouji: And just who are you?

The boy looked at me.

He had black hair with blue eyes.

But there's definitely something off with him.

Takumi: I'm Yami Takumi. Nice to meet you.

Ayanokouji: (Yami Takumi? In Japanese, Yami means darkness and Takumi means adroit and adept. One who is skillful.)
