Ritzneer Honeymoon

Kid Ritz POV:

The ceremony ends, and Fred is the first to lead us to the party hall in the next room. I watch happily as our friends dance around to the music Rollie plays. Toward the end of the party, Ven comes up to me excitedly.

Ven: "I came to ask you something."

Kid Ritz: "Sure, V. What's up?"

Ven: "Can you follow me?"

I nod and let him lead me away from the party. He leads me upstairs of the lodge and to a quiet room set up with white candles, glittery flowers, and a beautiful floor-to-ceiling window that gives way to the views of Mocha Mountain.

Ven: "I... was hoping we could have a private dance? Just to ourselves?"

Kid Ritz: "I'd love to."

He smiles before walking over to a radio set up and waiting. He presses the button, and soft music begins to play.

He walks back over and grabs my hand. My other rests on his waist, and slowly, we begin to dance. We sway gently, and a slow snowstorm falls outside of the window as we dance, making for beautiful shadows against the floor.

I twirl Ven as the song plays and gently dip him back against my arm. He wraps his arms around my neck, and with a beautiful smile, he looks up at me. I kiss him as the song ends, the two of us pulling away with soft grins.

Ven: "I've fantasized about this dance my whole life. The man who would dance with me, dip me, call me up on stage after picking me out from a crowd, that always changed... until I met you. From the day I laid my eyes on you, you've consistently been the man in my dreams, my knight in shining armor."

Kid Ritz: "I'm honored, Veneer."

I stand him upright before taking his hand and bringing it to my lips. I feel his hands glow a soft, warm orange; it is comforting and pretty in contrast to all the white around us.

Ven: "I guess we should head back down there. I'm glad the camera crew has caught everything else but this."

Kid Ritz: "It's our special moment."

He nods as we glance outside, then head back downstairs. The rest of the wedding is fun, and even once it's ended and everyone packs up to go, the mood is much lighter than when we all arrived.

Ven spends a while with Velv as I help the boys pack up to go. Orchid joins in, and I get to talk to her before she and Velv leave.

Kid Ritz: "Hey, O. I'm so thankful you came. It wouldn't have been the same without you."

Orchid: "I'm happy I got to come. It was beautiful, Ritz. The way Ven looks at you is with nothing but love. He adores you, just as Rollie does with Fred... Midori with Carlos..."

Kid Ritz: "Velv with you."

She smiles as we look at the twins. The two hug and continue talking, then smiling as Ven makes Velv laugh about something.

Orchid: "I think it's big he... opened up and was so honest. I'm not sure I could do that."

Kid Ritz: "I'm proud of him for it. He's been through a lot, yet I couldn't be more impressed with where he is now."

Orchid: "Despite what happened, I'm excited to see him on tour. He'll be done before Velv and I's wedding, which is good."

Kid Ritz: "I can't wait for yours, O."
