Dom POV:

Kid Ritz: "Veneer, Carlos, Midori, and I are starting a cooking show!"

Everyone gasps and laughs excitedly at the news. Wow, I didn't know they'd go that venue, but it suits them.

Ritz is a good host, and I'm sure the trio will be good additions.

Kid Ritz: "We have partnered with the Crazy Cookie Network and will be allowed to go on air with our new show "Couture Cooks!". Carlos will be our head chef, Ven will be the designer who will make the plating look aesthetic, Midori will design our recipes and draw them out for our cookbook, and I will act as a host and give added commentary! We'll have different segments, cute challenges, and, most importantly, make everything couture and aesthetic while keeping it cheap and attainable. Sure, a dish can be attractive and taste great, but for a cheap price? Not an easy thing to do! Our show will tackle that and more!"

Mateo: "Wow! Food and creativity!"

Mateo claps excitedly, looking very thrilled at such a prospect.

Ven: "We were so excited to announce this to you all. For each week on the show, we'd like to invite you to be our guests."

Johnny and Brandon high-five. They are looking excited about this. Huh... Sage Boyz is on a cooking show; that's funny to imagine. From what I'm gathering, it seems like they'll be attempting more than just plain cooking.

I can see this working, especially with their differences in personalities. There could be a nice contrast.

Carlos is quiet and calm yet still has humor. Midori is bubbly, excitable, and very expressive. Kid Ritz is good at talking and engaging in conversation, and Ven is very quick and personable.

I continue to listen as they explain more about the show, yet my focus remains on Mateo.

Once the four explain, they descend the stairs, and the party continues.

Mateo: "Dom! Isn't that exciting! New show for them!"

Dom: "It's very exciting.
I'm happy for them!"

Mateo nods as his shoulder is tapped. One of his members speaks to him, which excites him, though I'm not sure what he was told.

Mateo: "Dom, I will sing for you! Well, everyone but you, I want to hear me!"

Dom: "I'd love to!"

Mateo claps happily and walks to his mariachi. I stand by Johnny and Brandon, waiting as Mateo gets set up with a guitar.

Once he's ready, he nods to his band as he strums.

I listen to Mateo sing passionately, his voice switching from soft to heavy with emotion.
He sways in time to the music as he sings, the emotion and power behind his voice taking me by surprise.

Sure, it's a slow song, but his raspy yet smooth voice envelops me the whole time.

I've never heard something so... so unique and beautiful.

Once he finishes, I clap happily for him. He and his mariachi thank us before they start playing another song.

Mateo sets his guitar down, and I wait for him to receive praise from everyone else before approaching him.

Dom: "Mateo! That was wonderful!"

Mateo smiles and hugs me.

Mateo: "It was sad, the song."
