Veneer POV:

Ven: "Bye!!!"

I say bye to RIVAL, then meet Kid Ritz outside. He smirks at me, the both of us dying to talk about what we'd picked up tonight between a particular bodyguard and a singer.

Kid Ritz: "Since when did they get together!?"

Ven: "Who knows? Could it be a long-term relationship? They could be new?"

Kid Ritz: "They look so cute together! I don't know if I ever expected them together, but now that I've seen it, I'm all for it!"

Ven: "Mm. Young love. So cute."

Kid Ritz laughs as he turns off the lights around the balcony.

Kid Ritz: "You remember being that young? 24... before even being 24?"

Ven: "I... have an old soul."

Kid Ritz: "Right, right. That's very true."

I smile and wait for him to finish cleaning outside before heading inside. We work together on cleaning up the apartment downstairs before heading upstairs.

I find Floyd and Jewels fast asleep on the couch, which is pretty cute when I see them that way. I help Floyd get to bed as Ritz puts Jewels into her cage. We decide we're to have a sleepover in my room once we're both ready for bed.

Ven: "So, we've got a few days to relax, get logistics and information in motion, then filming starts!"

Kid Ritz: "And our documentary will be coming out. So, on top of the excitement, we'll be able to announce our show officially once we've gotten the trailers filmed."

Ven: "I can't think of anything better. I'm very excited."

Kid Ritz: "I am so happy the news was so well received among our friends."

Ven: "I know! I think Carlos and Midori were excited about it, too! But... can I be a little silly for a moment?"

Kid Ritz: "Hmm, no."

He shocks me as he turns off the light on my nightstand and flips onto his side of the bed so his back is to me.

Ven: "Ritz!"

I see as he giggles quietly, then busts out laughing as I gently hit his hip.

Ven: "Hello? Are you being serious? Be so for real right now."

Kid Ritz rolls over, tears in his eyes as I shake my head over him laughing so hard.

Ven: "I think you've gone mad. We must cancel the show now; you're unfit to do it."

Kid Ritz: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just wanted to be silly because I thought it was funny. What's up?"

Ven: "Well, now I don't want to tell you."

Kid Ritz: "Aww, V. No, I'm sorry. Please tell me."

He pokes my side, making me flinch, fearing for him to tickle me. He pokes me again, making me laugh and give in to his silly antics.

Ven: "Fine, fine. I was going to talk about Mateo."

Kid Ritz: "Oh! I like him. He's pretty cool. Didn't he do such a great job singing?"

Ven: "He did so well! But... that's not the only thing I picked up on tonight."

Ritz raises his eyebrows as he leans on his arm. He plays with my forearm and pokes me lightly some more while waiting for me to continue.

Ven: "I... think he and Dom might be talking."

Kid Ritz: "You think so? I... saw them hanging out a lot tonight, but I figured they were just friends."
