I enjoy cake with everyone and hang out until Rollie eventually has to leave with Midori.
Midori: "We'll see you guys tomorrow! Thanks for having us over, Velv!"
Midori hugs Velv tightly as Rollie hugs me. Once they're gone, I help Velv clean everything up. By the time we're done, Jewels is fast asleep on the couch.
Velv: "Okay, so now that everything is cleaned up here, I need your help picking out something."
I follow her to her and Orchid's room and sit on her bed as she goes to her closet. She comes back with three sets of jewelry.
Velv: "I have everything planned but my jewelry. I... was hoping you'd pick it for me."
Ven: "Are you sure? This is what can bring the whole look together."
Velv: "I'm sure. I... I feel bad I wasn't involved in my brother's wedding as much as I should have. You've helped give me such a wonderful bachelorette party and... and."
She stammers a little as she looks away.
Ven: "Hey, Velv. It would be best if you weren't upset. It was a rough patch, but we are more than capable of looking past it. Come here."
I hug her and rub her back til she relaxes.
Velv: "Thanks, Ven."
Ven: "Of course. Now, let me see my options."
She hands me the jewelry, and I sift through them carefully.
Ven: "Hmm... depending on the tone of your dress..."
Velv: "I have a fabric sample."
She hurries to her closet and returns with a small square of fabric.
I hold each piece of jewelry against it and bring it to her bathroom lighting.
Ven: "I choose these."

Velv: "I was hoping you'd pick those."
Ven: "Really?"
She nods and takes the rest of the jewelry back to her closet. She comes back and lays on her bed with a sigh.
Velv: "I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow. My heart feels... perfect."
Ven: "I can't believe you're getting married either. I like Orchid and do not doubt that she's good for you, so she gets five stars of approval from me."
Velv meets my eyes with a smile.
Velv: "I can't wait to see all the crystal, glitter, and pink and purple. It's going to be so pretty."
Ven: "I'm going to take so many photos of you. Did Rollie tell you he's bringing his camera?"
