"Mimi! You still have some of my clothes up here, right!" You yelled out from her room, rummaging around her drawers.

"Yeah? What d'ya think, that I'd throw'em out? No way in hell am I putting in the effort to do that, even if I wanted to!" She yelled back at you.

That sounded about right.

After changing, you made your way back down to the living room. The clothes you found were smaller than you wanted them to be, but they were still too big for you.

In the living room, Hikisaku had moved all her equipment around, leaving a big enough space for the two of you to sit down and work.

You looked at Hikisaku. She wasn't wearing too much, as she had taken off her school uniform and that's it.
The uniform was scattered all over the room, she wasn't going to put in the effort to change after doing all that work of moving the equipment.

That was expecting way too much from her.
Despite all this work she put in, the room was still dimly lit, just the way she liked it.
Given how much time you've spent here, you were able to see, but not as much as you would've liked.

You didn't say anything though, because you wanted to keep Hikisaku happy.

She had a weight lifting bench placed in the center of the room, long enough for the two of you to have your work placed side by side. You were about to create a space opposite of the side she sat on when Hikisaku spoke.

"Yugo, ya don't mind cooking something before we start, yeah?"

"Sure! What are you feeling like having today?" You asked her happily.

"Karaage would be nice. You haven't made that in a while."

"Because I know you'd ask for it everyday if you could."

"You could say that about a lot of different foods, y'know."

"Well, I was going to say that, but it's better if you come right out and say it yourself. I'll get right on it, then!"

You made your way into the kitchen, and you started preparing ingredients, defrosting meats, setting up the pots and pans, the works.

In contrast to all the clattering in the kitchen, Hikisaku worked silently in the living room, looking through all the topics she felt you needed to study for.

Eventually, the ruckus in the kitchen was replaced with the sounds of searing and boiling.

It was really quiet, aside from the sounds in the kitchen, neither of you said a word to each other. The silence wasn't that bad though, it was quite serene actually.

It was the type of quiet that could only exist when two people knew each other so well, that they didn't even have to communicate to know what the other was doing.

At some point, you used your quirk to walk through the wall, going back to your apartment. Hikisaku understood why without you having to say anything, you were probably missing an ingredient, and the chances of it being in Hikisaku's apartment were slim.

Using your quirk meant you were also in a rush, so you probably didn't realize you needed it until now.

The light pattern of your feet signaled your return, and you threw something at her. Hikisaku didn't react to it at all, because she knew you wouldn't accidentally hit her with whatever it was.
