---------------------------------------------------------

Slowly, light began to return the farther you fell. You and Hikisaku didn't fall for too long. It was maybe fifteen seconds before the ground came into view. Both of you activated your quirks to prevent any damage you would've taken from a fall of that distance.

Hikisaku was standing, and immediately surveyed the area you two fell into. You got back to your feet quickly, and joined her in looking around.

There was very little to see. It looked as if you had fallen into a small room of some kind. It was practically a small hallway, that connected two rooms together, as there were two doors at both ends.

"Yugo, why the hell did we let ourselves fall? There were several ways for us to completely stop this. Even now, we could just fly up and go through the trap door with our quirks." Hikisaku genuinely asked. It wasn't like the two of you to fall for something like this.

"Well, there's a lot that we can do from down here Mimi. This underground is probably just as big as the castle above it."

"And?"

"Well, if we got down here, then there must be a way back up, right?"

"Hm? Oh, I see now. There has to be ways back up, since some of the Guojiadizi had to come from down here. There isn't enough room in the actual castle."

"Right. And since it seems like all of the Guojiadizi came out to meet us, it should be easy for us to get around down here."

"Alright. I say we should find a way to get back up to the northern end of the castle. From there, we can either come from behind to help the others. If not, we should be able to just get into the great hall from one of the hallways up there."

"Great. Since it's your plan, you lead the way Mimi."

"Yugo, why do I feel like your just dumping any responsibility on me....."

"Come on, it's not like that! This whole operation is ours, you have to put in some work too."

"Huh??? I—I can't fault that actually. It does feel like you've been doing all the leading up until now. But uh, can you at least try radioing in first?"

"Will it work? I'm sure the others would've tried it already if it did."

You pulled the radio out to use it. Well, it wasn't a radio, it was actually a walkie talkie. From the sounds it gave off, it seemed like you were out of range.

"We must have fell too far down Mimi. Do you think you could do the math?"

"I can. I just don't want to. We might as well find the way out Yugo. Follow me."

Hikisaku took a few moments to figure out which door would lead you in the right direction. She turned to the door to her left, which was in the east, and you followed her.

The door opened with ease, and the two of you walked out of the small room.

You and Hikisaku walked through several rooms, and none of them could be described as, well you don't know how to describe them. This seemed to be where most of the Guojiadizi's work was done.
