"That reminds me, I never got to hear what your quirk was." Psycher said to Hikisaku, on their way to the meditation room the next day.

'How could you, when you made me sit in a room in silence for 10 hours.'

"Really? Did you not think it was beneficial at all?"

She turned to him in shock.

'What the? How did he-'

"How did I know what you were thinking? Well, that's obvious, no? I did it through my quirk, Acute Psychosis."

He stopped walking, and Hikisaku did the same, turning to look down at him.

"Acute, refers to the type of psychic abilities that I'm capable of. That would be the mind, and the mind only, don't believe that I can go around lifting people by thinking."

He shook his head.

"What the hell. I asked you what your quirk was, why don't I just read your mind instead?"

He closed his eyes for a second, then opened them again.

Hikisaku panicked at that, and blurted out,"Hey, you can't just do that! That's an invasion of privacy!"

"Too late, I already did. Your quirk is Radiance then? I've seen what it can do now, it's very impressive."

"Huh? Just..... how much did you see?"

"Oh? I read all of it." He said, like it was absolutely okay that he did.

She froze, she wanted to be angry, but instead, she grew passive all of a sudden, and when she spoke, it was very quiet.

"Then do you know about....."

Psycher just looked at her, and nodded understandingly.

"I won't bring any of it up, if you don't want to talk about it." He said, the first time he sounded like he cared.

He opened his mouth to speak, but he was interrupted by a voice calling out to him.

"Masahiro!"

Psycher turned around with an annoyed look that someone called him by his name in front of Hikisaku. However, he seemed to recognize the voice while turning around, and he let out a smile.

"Takabe!" He said to a rather lanky man in the courtyard.

He was in the middle of graying, and there was some visible wrinkles in him, but the smile he wore gave him a more youthful appearance. He wasn't wearing a hero costume, so Hikisaku assumed he wasn't one.

"What are you doing here? You already have one foot out the door don't you?" Psycher asked him, with actual emotion in his voice.

"Don't put it like that! You're making it sound like I'm dying or something."

Hikisaku just stood there politely, well not really, it was impatiently, waiting for an introduction to get it over with.

Sure enough, Psycher turned around and spoke to her,"Ah. Hikisaku-san, this is Takebe Marafuji, an old, and I mean old, friend of mine. He is, or was, the Burst Hero, Spark Breaker. If you've ever heard of him."
