"They sure have a lot of crap down here." A hero said.

"They've got all kinds of shit everywhere. These bastards had a hand in everything." Someone who was clearly not a hero responded from nearby.

"I'd appreciate it if you two would actually started going through all this. I understand you were all forced into this, but so was I." Another hero said. That complaining, it was very familiar.

Kazero. He, and dozens of others were investigating Trias Keep. That's what they were officially doing there anyway, in actuality, they were going through the Guojiadizi's things.

Looking for what? Treasure. Or at least, that's what the grunts were told. They'd actually found the Trias Keep storeroom a long time ago, so most of them still wondered why they were still searching the castle.

The only person who knew the true reason for them being there, was Kazero.

Right now, he was in the room of one of the Guojiadizi siblings with a few others. How massive it was tipped them off as being one of theirs.

"Well, why the hell are we still here? What more does he want?" Another asked from a closet, popping his head out to glare at Kazero.

"I don't know. If we find it, he'll tell us." Kazero said, exhausted at the needless questions.

"Yeah, dumbass. How did you figure out how to come here in the first place?" Someone crawled out from under the bed.

"Shut up. I only came here for the bit of treasure we each get. If there wasn't anything in it for me, I wouldn't have come." The man halfway out of the closet said.

"Please. As if you would just blow him off. When have you ever said no to him?" Another voice in the closet said, who seemed to be actually working.

There was silence in the room after that question. The only sound made was the opening and closing of various things in the room.

"Well, I don't think we're allowed to say no." The man leaning out of the closet broke the silence.

"You don't think? You're not allowed to, plain and simple. Not if you mind dying anyway." Kazero made clear.

"Yeah. It makes me wonder how long some of you have been a part of this." An older woman going through a crate of papers said.

"Me? Not too long. How about you guys?"

"Haha. Decades." The woman going through the papers answered, as if it were a funny thought.

"Jesus. There's no out?"

"You're really asking that now? I'm sure you know the answer to that." The guy under the bed remerged to say.

"I'm sure that was part of the spiel, actually." Kazero tried to recall, but it was so long ago when it happened.

"Why the hell did these idiots decide to live down here anyway? It's so.....dirty."

"Oh yeah? At least you didn't have to see what became of the Guojiadizi kids up there. Now that was dirty." The woman going through the papers, again, said with a little too much positivity.
