"Wow! That last minute was a bit hard too watch, they were really going at it! Your winner lasted longer however, Mimitaka Hikisaku advances to the final round!"
Hikisaku passed by Bakugo on her way out. Her skin stung as she walked, the air coming into contact with all the burns he had left on her body.
She stopped for a moment right next to him.
'Stubborn Bastard.'
Then, she began to walk down the hallway she came from, and disappeared from the crowd's view.
You stood up without warning, but you immediately fell back down, your legs were too weak to support you.
"Mimi...." you groaned out loud, and Kirishima gave an educated guess on what you wanted.
"You want to see Hikisaku, L/N? You can't get there by yourself, the next round will start by the time you get there."
"I can take you if you want, L/N." Uraraka offered, who sat in the row in front of you.
You gave her the slowest nod ever, because it was all you could muster.
She went out into the aisle, and Kirishima took ahold of you and met her there, then he handed you off to her. It feels like you've done this before.
Uraraka slung your left arm over her shoulder, and very carefully slipped her right arm under your right arm, and of you went, leaning into her for support.
It was a slow walk to the waiting room, since it was as fast as you could move. This gave Uraraka plenty of time for her to talk with you, if you were even able to, that is. There was quite a bit that she wanted to talk about.
"L/N-san, we're friends, aren't we?" It was such a weird thing to say, not just because it came out of nowhere, but also because Uraraka blurted it out.
You didn't say anything for a few seconds, and believing that you hadn't heard her, she was about to ask again when you finally spoke.
"Of course we are! Why would we not be?" your voice was soft, but it was still noticeably cheery. You turned slowly to look at her, and from the look on her face, she seemed to have a lot on her mind.
"Well, Hikisaku told us about you. She said that if you weren't with someone you were really close with, then you start to copy the emotions of people around you...
She also said that if you aren't with someone like that, then you have to be careful and not let your emotions get out of control."
You looked at her for a few seconds, as if you were waiting for her to say more.
When she said nothing else, you spoke again, softly, "Is that a problem though? Did she say anything else?"
"Well, she said that you would get quiet when she had her matches because you were trying to keep your emotions in check."
You chuckled at that.
"Did she really say that? It sounds like her. I wasn't quiet because I was trying to not let myself be emotional, I was just worried about Hikisaku during her matches.
More specifically, I was worried about what she might do, and I was just trying to be ready in case something happened."
"Besides, I've been alone with you guys without Hikisaku plenty of times before. And I was always myself every single one of those times."
Uraraka sighed in relief, as if a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders.
Then, she asked you another question.
"You really care about Hikisaku, huh L/N? I mean, I know you said that you came to U.A. to watch over her, but I didn't realize you'd be doing this much, and going this far for her."
