As soon as Ricky departed, Class 1A followed Hikisaku as she returned up to the class's floor of Heights Alliance. As in, they followed her everywhere she went, tracing her steps to the letter to keep her in their sights.
Each of her classmates were very eager to hear the phone call that Hikisaku revealed she would be making.
Somehow, they all managed to cram into the elevator, their quirks allowing them to use every inch of the metal box. They were planning to do the same thing as she, and everyone else, approached her dorm room, but she managed to compromise with them.
"All right! I don't need you all in here! If you're going to stay on my ass, I'll call in the common room!" She barked at her classmates from her doorway.
Unsure of whether to believe her or not, most of Class 1A waited for Hikisaku in the hallway, watching her every move as she looked for her phone. Some of her less invested fellow students (Bakugo) made their way to the living room to grab a seat (steal Hikisaku's).
Upon finding it, they parted like the Red Sea as Hikisaku approached them. There was a very real chance of her deciding to push them aside to part them herself if they hadn't.
She raised her phone up to begin tapping on it. The class, misinterpreting her motion, huddled in closer to her to hear what they thought was the start if the phone call.
"Hold on! We're not even in the-Are you guys going to be this annoying the whole time?" She asked them, throwing her arms out to get them to back away.
"Yes. You haven't made us feel confident that you'll actually see what you said through." Midoriya answered her from somewhere in the crowd.
"Hey! I've never gone back on my word, whatever I say I'll do, I'll do it! It's being told what to do that I have issues with..." She snapped at him candidly, though that last sentence was said with much less confidence.
"Ain't that the truth." Mineta said from somewhere, hoping that he'd be safe behind the cover of his classmates.
"I swear-" She started as the class exited the hallway.
"You can't even fault him for that one. We were all thinking it." Hagakure found herself agreeing with her mortal enemy.
She then found herself wanting to choke him after he leapt over the couch arm to take her spot.
Preoccupied with her phone, Hikisaku was the loser of the race to find a spot in the common room. Not wanting to be sitting at the dining tables and out of earshot, even the good spots on the floor were taken.
Dramatically, she was forced to make her phone call standing, surrounded by all her schoolmates. There was a good chance they planned this, as a way to keep her from flying off like she normally did.
If that really was their intention, Hikisaku didn't realize it. She was invested in finding other ways to reach her contact. She started the call in the hallway, but she's been on hold for a couple minutes now.
'Maybe I should've called with Yugo's phone instead.....' She thought to herself.
Finally, the sound of her call being redirected could be heard. If her phone had been to her ear anyway; the sound was so subtle that she didn't notice until a human voice came from the other end.
