---------------------------------------------------------

You stood still in the bush, breathing heavily. Realizing that this would give away your location, you tried to slow your breathing down.

You began to hearing the click and clatter of metal touching metal. You turned in the direction that the sound came from, and began to speculate what it was.

'Are they reloading? If they are, I can just rush in and take them out now. No, I can't do that, what if they have more than one gun? What if they're doing it so loudly that they want me to approach?'

'Hold on, how many rounds did they fire before this? Damn, I should've kept count..... That would've at least told me the type of gun they have.'

'They seemed to shoot one bullet at a time, so maybe their weapon isn't automatic. Or it could be, and they have the control to only fire one round at a time. I don't know, what about-'

You were ripped away from your thoughts by the sound of gunfire again.

You began to run around the bush again, hoping they couldn't keep track of your movements. Each time you heard the crack of a bullet being ejected from its casing, you activated your quirk for a moment, in case they actually hit you.

Finally, no more bullets were fired, and you stopped in your tracks.

'Damn, I only really thought about their guns, I also have to consider what their quirk is.
I'm not exactly making too much noise, other than my breathing, but if they were listening for me, they would've heard it by now, even if they had a quirk to hear.'

'If they can't find me quickly, then can I rule out them being able to see me in the bushes? Do they have x ray vision, or can they see heat? I don't think looking around the bush would take that long if they did.'

'What is that sound? It's pretty faint, but it sounds like..... flicking? What is that about-'

Another gunshot was heard, and this time you were completely unprepared for it, too deep in thought.

You felt the bullet connect with your stomach, and you immediately used your quirk to fuse it and stop the momentum. The bullet was left lodged in you, and you simply sealed the opening around the bullet to make it easy on yourself.

All this was done while you ran. The bullets stopped being fired, and you stopped yourself so abruptly that you crashed into the ground.
You contemplated getting back to your feet.

They definitely heard you crash down into the ground, and if you took the time to stand back up, they could easily shoot at you again.

You convinced yourself that, if you just stayed on the ground, they would just be able to find you eventually, however they were doing it.

You got to your knees, before rolling out in front of you to get to your feet, and to build momentum in case you needed to run again.
Nothing happened, and you began to think again.

'I-I don't think I can let that happen anymore. That shit hurt like hell. Son of a- Alright. I don't think I've ever heard them moving around, while I've been running all across the bush.'
