You and Hikisaku sat around in her room, deep in thought about your next move. You sat down in the bean bag chair next to the couch, while Hikisaku sat down on it at the other end, her legs taking half of the space on the couch.
Now that you had your provisional hero license, you were going to make use of it. Aizawa informed the class that they would begin working at hero agencies for a few weeks to familiarize yourselves with the process.
In addition to your hero studies. You didn't like that part one bit.
The two of you were trying to figure out where exactly you would find work at.
The only thing you and Hikisaku were certain about, is that you wanted to work together.
"Don't you have any ideas, Yugo? You're, older, surely you can figure something out? Don't you have any connections or anything, so that we can land something cushy?" Hikisaku barraged you with those questions, and then proceeded to scoop the pillows on the couch over her.
"Connections? Me? If anyone, I thought you'd be the one who knows somewhere we could go, Mimi!"
"You're the one who won the Sports Festival, why aren't all the agencies clamoring to hire you? Especially since Todoroki and Bakugo didn't pass." You stretched your neck up as high as you could, barely being able to see her over the edge of the couch.
"Well..... I don't know! Why the hell doesn't anyone want to hire me!? Don't they know how great of a catch I am!?" Hikisaku yelled out angrily. She stood up quickly and threw her arms up, sending all the pillows that were on her flying in every direction.
"Unfortunately, no one's biting. Who knew that the girl who is always angry and the person who ends up almost getting themselves killed everytime they get into a confrontation would be so unhirable?"
"Oh....." You said it jokingly, but then it hit you that this was probably the actual problem.
"Hmph." Was all you got out of Hikisaku, as she back down on the sofa with her arms crossed, clearly growing frustrated.
"Well, we could always just ask Aizawa-sensei to find an agency that could take us."
"No! I don't want to go to some random agency! I want to go where the action is!" Hikisaku began to yell again, seemingly the only way she was going to communicate with you now.
'Damn, if we can't find any place like that, then the next best thing would be for us to go somewhere that she would be happy to be at.' You thought.
"Mimi, how about we just go to the Kyoshin agency with Psycher-san? There seemed to be a lot happening there last time, and you get along with him really well." You tried to sell the idea to her, but it didn't seem like she didn't need much convincing.
"Aha! Masahiro, of course! Why didn't I think of that?" She then pulled out her phone, while you stood up from the bean bag to walk over to her.
"You seriously didn't even consider him until now?" You asked, dumbfounded by Hikisaku's clearly very intelligent brain.
She ignored your question as she tapped away on her phone. She pulled it up to her mouth just in time for you to sit next to her on the couch to speak with Psycher as well.
