The four of you slowly made your way under the shadow of the center structures. Whatever was about to happen down here, you were all minimally prepared for it.

The very best thing you had planned was for Hagakure to come up from behind undetected. Invisible, she was approaching the center with you guys at a distance.

Before long, Monoma was within your line of sight. Just as Hagakure said, he was standing in a sole ray of sunshine that managed to make its way down. Once he saw the three of you, he pointed over at you all dramatically.

"Hahahaha, so you finally decided to show up. I was beginning to think you had all just given up and fled." Monoma said triumphantly.

"As if. I'm surprised that you didn't do the same as your other teammates. Clearly, they were smart enough to run, unlike your dumbass." Hikisaku kept up with the banter as you all slowly approached him.

"Well, they're nowhere near the caliber of talent that I am. No matter, I'm more than enough to deal with.....One of you is missing.
The invisible one? That's your plan? Hahahaha!" Monoma laughed off the fact that he figured out what your plan was so easily.

It didn't seem like he knew that you found out theirs. Or maybe he was playing along with your pretending not to know, and he was luring you in. You couldn't be sure. You were beginning to think you were over thinking it.

But considering Monoma's overinflated ego, he probably didn't care. He definitely still thought he would win, even if you did know about their ambush.

"Well, if it works, it works." You said simply.

"The problem with that is, it's not going to work. You see, when you're up against someone such as myself, it doesn't matter what you try. In the end, I'll be the victor, the greatest of them all, the-"

"Shut up already!" Hikisaku yelled out, cutting Monoma off.

He just kept going, drowning out Hikisaku's voice with his own.

"THE ULTIMATE HERO, THE MOST COURAGEOUS PERSON ALIVE, THE-"

"SHUT UP DUMBASS!" Hikisaku interrupted again.

Out of frustration, she turned into energy. Then she headed straight for Monoma at light speed.

"Mimi, wait!" You yelled out.

Hikisaku turned back to normal right in front of Monoma, so that she could strike. Her fist connected with his chest, and he was sent flying, but not before he managed to reach his arms around her to touch her. It was just for a moment, but that was all he needed.

"YOU DID IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! YOU IDIOT!" Monoma yelled out as he was sent flying out from under the structure.

He flew so far out that the shadow the structure cast down on the ground and him disappeared. The moment the sun shone down on him again, he turned into energy.

"Damn it Mimi! What makes you think that was a good idea!?" You yelled out to her.

"It wasn't. I just wanted the semblance of a challenge, and I think I got one." She turned to look back at you and Kirishima after finishing. She had a small smile on her face.
