"L/N!" Someone yelled out from above you. Who it was you didn't know, you couldn't trust your hearing right now, as the fatigue set in.
You heard the light sound of someone landing on the ground behind you, then their light steps as they approached.
The steps stopped for a second.
"Hm? What does this mean?" The voice questioned. They were probably looking at the zero left on the ground.
The person's legs came into view, and the pink on that costume was unmistakable.
Uraraka bent down, to meet your eyes.
"Hey, are you alright?" She reached over to your shoulder, and gave you a few slight nudges with her fingers. Then she glanced at your face, and her expression faltered when she saw the content smile you wore.
*I saw the green forcefield from far off in the air, and I came right over. I-Is that really him?" She turned away to look at Midorikawa laying down on the ground a few meters in front of you.
"Yeah, that's Midorikawa. Or that's the name he gave us anyway. I doubt that's who he really is, and he seemed to confirm it."
"Do you mind if you..... Yeah?" You suddenly grew tired, with your face drooping and the smile on it fading. You hoped Uraraka understood what you were going to say.
"I've got it L/N. Which compartment are they in?" She reached down to your belt, and she trailed her fingers around it waiting for you to tell her.
"It's in the back. I've got it, don't worry." You reached out behind you, and your hand emerged holding a pair of handcuffs.
You handed them to her. Uraraka began to stand back up to approach Midorikawa, but you shot your hand over to her wrist and grabbed it.
She turned back to look at you, wondering what you wanted.
You pointed up, and she understood. She got back to her feet, and using her momentum, you pulled yourself back up as well. You let go of her, and you both slowly walked over to Midorikawa.
Uraraka bent back down, to grab a hold of Midorikawa's arms.
Suddenly he sat up and threw his arms towards her, hoping to surprise attack her.
Instead his hands clasped together through your quirk, and he was unable to separate them.
"Yugo! You son of a- How?!" He asked, defeated. He laid back down, and accepted his fate as Uraraka clasped the handcuffs on both of his wrists.
"Do you think we get extra points for taking down an actual villain?" Uraraka asked you, as you fell back down on your butt again from overusing your quirk.
"I..... hope so. I don't..... think I can do..... much else." Just like Midorikawa, you laid down on your back completely, except you did it out of exhaustion.
Uraraka observed you. Her eyes darted from your tattered left glove, and the many tears in your hero costume around the stomach.
"L/N, are you hurt at all? I can take you out to the safe zone, if you'd like."
"Oh no, I'm alright. I just..... lulled him into a false sense of security, that's all. I wanted him to think he had me beat.
It did hurt like hell, though. Actually, it still kinda hurts." You reached down to your stomach with your left hand, opening your palm in the process. That also hurt, so you put your right hand over your left.
