Hikisaku slowly walked down the steps to get to you. She reached down to pick you up, but she didn't move her eyes away from Tanahashi in front of her. Neither did you. He just stared back at the two of you with a light smile on his face.
There was something different about him, and it was pretty obvious what. His skin has changed color. It was now a very light, but noticeable, shade of green. The bullet holes where he had been shot at were also gone.
Hikisaku walked you over to him. You opened your mouth to speak, but Tanahashi threw his finger up to your face, and wagged it. Then he brought his free hand up to his ear, signaling for you to use the phone.
Scratching your cheek, you did as he requested. You pulled out your phone from the compartment on your belt, and redialed Kazero's number.
He didn't answer, though you should've seen that coming.
You pulled your phone down for a bit. A few seconds later, your phone rang, and it was an unknown number. This wasn't new to you at this point, so you answered it, believing it to be Kazero.
"Kazero." You managed to say first.
"Yugo-han?" Was his response. It sounded like he was asking if it was you.
"Who else would it be?" Yout told him.
"Well, I couldn't be sure. With how softly your speaking, you could have been just about anyone. I take it you've managed to take down the outpost?" He asked after lecturing you.
"We have."
"You're condition?"
"Not the greatest."
"I didn't think so. That's the answer I've been getting from the other attack parties. I'll send some people to take over for the three of you. For now, make sure to keep all the Guojiadizi members in check."
"Of course."
"Don't go hanging up on me now. Let me give you the damn number first..... All right. Make sure that doesn't happen again."
"I'll try."
"Hm. If anything, I'll probably be the one to call you, to tell you what happened with the other outposts." He sounded unamused, and he promptly hung up on you.
You returned your phone to its proper place.
"What did he say?" Tanahashi asked.
"We have to stay and play babysitter." Hikisaku said over you. She was able to hear your entire conversation, since it happened a few inches away from her.
"Good. That should give us some time to recover. And to sort things out, I suppose." He added, as if he just now noticed the looks you and Hikisaku were giving him.
"First, let's get settled, yeah?" He added, after realizing that the two of you were just going to keep on staring at him.
The three of you gathered all the Guojiadizi members into large piles. Or more accurately, you dragged the ones that weren't already sprawled out in an area to one of those piles.
The leader's hand was reattached by your quirk. You began to feel woozy now from overusing it, but that disappeared as you focused on cleaning up the castle.
The three of you did a walk around of all the floors separately to see if any gangsters had regained consciousness. When you were done, you all gathered on the first floor to talk.
You and Hikisaku stood beside each other. Then you started talking, which was mostly you having Tanahashi address the elephant in the room.
"Tanahashi, I saw what happened to you." You said to him.
