---------------------------------------------------------

The three of you arrived at the prison an hour later. You had driven in a car to get to the train station, and when you got off the train, you ended up in another car. It wasn't really an effective way to travel, but it worked.

The prison itself, was much smaller than you expected. So you called it out immediately.

"This is the place you've been keeping Tanahashi in?" You said in disbelief.

It was a little more believable that he managed to escape now, looking at the prison that he was being held in.

"I don't have any say in any of this, stop trying to lump me in with the people who are actually making decisions. Tanahashi hasn't been convicted of anything yet, so this where he's being kept. It's the most secure prison they're allowed to put him in." Kazero explained.

"Should it take that long? Surely, they can get someone like him charged and imprisoned quickly." Hikisaku chimed in.

"Can, isn't the same as should. Not only that, there isn't too much they can charge him for, from what I've heard. The only concrete stuff they have on Tanahashi is the hospital attack, and the attempted murder of you." Kazero turned around to look at you, stopping in the middle of the hallway within the prison.

"You know Kazero, you seem to be told a lot. Sure we ask you, but we don't expect you to actually give us the answers we're looking for." You decided to put him on the spot.

Kazero didn't respond. He just looked between the two of you, as if he wasn't amused by what you said. Or maybe he was just forming his response in his mind.

"Look, I don't know everything, just what I'm told. I was told to bring you here Yugo-han, to get the answers that they're looking for from the Hero Hunter. You don't like that you're being used? Neither do I."

Normally, everything that came out of Kazero's mouth sounded like a load of lies. But that, by the tone of his voice, sounded like it was his honest opinion.

"Can we keep going? We're pretty close to the interrogation room." Kazero said, in that tired tone of his.

You and Hikisaku exchanged glances before answering him.

"Fine." She let out.

"Lead the way." You said outright.

He snorted, before turning around to continue to travel down the hall. The two of you followed, with the same amount of enthusiasm as before, very little.

'How was that?'

'It was the best it could've been. It came straight from the heart, after all.'

---------------------------------------------------------

"Ah, you've finally returned, Kazero. This is Y/N L/N, I assume? Who's the other one? Tanahashi didn't want to talk to us, I don't think having someone with them is going to help." An officer spoke with Kazero outside the interrogation room.

"There was no way in hell I could bring them without bringing her." Kazero said matter-of-factly.

"He's right." Hikisaku added.
