Both of you stood in the middle of the ruined street, almost completely unmoving. Your loud gasps of air shook your bodies involuntarily. Though, your reasons for drawing in so much air were different between the two of you.
Devil PRIME took in labored, painful breaths as the blood continued to flow from his injured right arm.
You, on the other hand, were breathing in rapid, constant, and short bursts of air. None of it was because you were in pain, it was entirely from how strained your body was from overusing your quirk.
"Impressive. Very impressive, Yugo-san. It looks like you were more than capable after all." Tanahashi approved as he approached, before coming to a stop just behind Devil PRIME to aim a rifle at him.
Heroes began to stream into the hotel, and Tanahashi decided to let himself out as they did. Those heroes weren't reinforcements or anything, they had always been here.
You were a bit too busy to notice that the fighting that had been going on around you had come to an end.
As soon as RESET realized that their leader had been defeated, they surrendered. Police vehicles were finally able to pass the blockade that had been set up at the ends of the street. And they wasted no time placing the gangsters under arrest. Likewise, the heroes that had been fighting around you were the ones who rushed into the hotel.
"Yugo." Uraraka said simply as she landed to your right.
"Uravity." You let out, glancing over to her.
She gave you a short nod to show you that she was fine. You couldn't make out the look on her face, as her helmet had been cracked by a few of Devil PRIME's bullet shards. Judging by the small pools of blood on her hero costume, the rest of her body was struck by some as well.
You turned your attention back to Devil PRIME.
"You learned about us from Metai, right? That we were looking for you? Then, did they also tell you why we wanted to find you, Getsugabakuro?" You asked him, mustering as much breath as you could to say it all without interruption.
"Yeah. You said some crap about wanting to ask me about someone. Did you really expect them, or me, to believe that?" Devil PRIME's voice was strained, for good reason.
"You should have. All of this could have been avoided if you hadn't resorted to violence. There's always a bigger fish." Tanahashi lectured him at gunpoint.
"Right. All we wanted to ask you about was someone named Liu Man Ying. It looks like you'll have to answer for all your crimes as well now." Uraraka revealed to him.
"Liu Man Ying? You mean, you know about that woman?" He asked in surprise.
"Does that mean, you do?" You wanted to confirm.
"Yes, I do. She was a chemist for the Guojiadizi, and with their dissolution, she came to us for work. She's incredible at what she does." He explained.
"We know as much. What we want to know, is where we can find her." You went straight to the point.
"I—I don't know. Believe me, if I knew, I'd tell you. As good as she is at "chemistry," she's been nothing but trouble for my boys. I'd get back at her for killing them, but—"
