You and Hikisaku were traveling through the air, towards you weren't sure. She didn't tell you anything, and for good reason. The ground in front of a few dozen people wasn't the place to discuss the investigation.
"Mimi, where exactly are we going? Fill me in would you?"
"When I went to chase after the women who attacked you, I tried to get them to tell me where they learned about the bounty on you.
And I was successful."
"Really? What did they say?"
"It turns out, On-Black-Feathers was the informant who told them."
"No way! But, didn't the other informant tell us that On-Black-Feathers worked with bounties on wanted criminals and the like? Why would he tell anyone about me?"
"If we're going to be questioning him about the Hero Hunter, then it wouldn't hurt to ask that too."
"Hold on. If those two that attacked me earlier got their information from On-Black-Feathers, then....."
"Yup. They know where he is. And so do we. Block Eleven, That's where we're headed."
"Right. Finally, we'll get the answers that we've been looking for." You whispered to yourself in Hikisaku's arms.
The two of you landed in the general area several seconds later.
---------------------------------------------------------
Block Eleven. The slum that is the warehouse district borders the south side of this block. Sure enough, that's where Hikisaku was told to go.
You and Hikisaku surveyed the area you landed in, trying to see if you could find On-Black-Feathers location.
"What are we looking for exactly Mi- ah, Radiant-san?" You corrected yourself as a couple walked on the sidewalk behind you.
"A mahjong parlor. It doesn't officially open until later in the day, but that shouldn't be a problem for you." She glanced down at you.
"Are we just going to wait for him there?"
"No, those girls said that the old man is always in there, in case someone comes looking for him. They did say he keeps it locked, and doesn't open it if he doesn't recognize you as a customer of his."
"Hm..... There." You pointed towards a building, seemingly at random.
It appeared random, because at first glance, the mahjong parlor looked just like all the worn down buildings in this part of the city.
The one thing that made it stand out, were the similarly worn symbols of the four winds that were painted on the front.
"Come on." Hikisaku said, already a few steps in front of you.
You crossed the street, and came to a stop at the front door of the building. There were windows on the sides, but they were completely tinted, preventing anyone from looking in, or looking out.
An aesthetic choice, that also blocked the light of the sun from the outside.
"No time to waste, let's head in." You said.
You and Hikisaku walked at the same time into opposite sides of the door, and the two of you phased inside.
---------------------------------------------------------
It was mostly dark inside the mahjong parlor. Without the natural light of the sun, the lights in the parlor would be the only thing that would illuminate the many tables and chairs throughout the floor.
