The Second Half

The Battle Trials would be done in two teams of two, one taking the role of heroes, the other villains.

The goal for the villains would be to protect a nuclear weapon within a building, and the heroes would have one of two ways of beating them, either getting the weapon, or capturing both villains.

You waited until it was your turn, and you went to watch with the rest of the class in the observation room.

You stood next to Hikisaku, with Kirishima to the other side of her, as you observed the insanity that was the very first Battle Trials, Midoriya and Uraraka vs Bakugo and Ida.

"What the hell is going on in there? That Bakugo guy is a complete idiot. This isn't that serious." Hikisaku criticized, and she muttered to herself throughout the contest, everything directed at Bakugo.

You had learned to block her out a long time ago, but unfortunately Kirishima had to listen to the whole spiel.

"Don't you think you're being a little harsh on him, man?"

She turned to him,"And he's not?"

He didn't respond to that with words, but the look on his face said that Hikisaku was right about that.

You had to watch that whole thing, it was either awkward to lack at, or you winced at some of the stuff that happened, especially with Midoriya. You were glad when it ended, and then you weren't when it was revealed you were up next.

Your Battle Trial groups had been assigned, it was you and Kirishima as the villains, versus Jiro and Kaminari as the heroes.

"No way! Let's go bro!" he cried out right next to Hikisaku's ear.

She grabbed you by the arm and pulled you towards him, as if to say he was your problem now.

You and Jiro passed by each other on your way out,"Great, I've seen what you can do to a robot, I don't want to see what you can do to a person."

You just smiled at her and gave her a shrug as you walked away. So you and Kirishima left for Ground B and settled into your positions for the Trial to begin.

"Anndddddd, begin!" Rang All Might's voice throughout the building, and Kirishima began to run off immediately. "Huh, Kirishima-san hold on!"

He returned from the hallway he ran down and poked his head out to look at you standing next to the weapon.

"What's up bro?" He said in confusion.

"Are you really just going to go off recklessly like that? They have to come to us, so that gives us some time to at least come up with a plan first." You told him.

You then sat down on the floor, legs crossed, and Kirishima walked back towards you and did the same.

"Uhm, do you have any ideas?" he asked after taking only a few seconds to think.

"Well, I was thinking that if I fused them together, it would be a lot easier to manage only one person."

You said it casually, but Kirishima looked at you in shock and excitement,"Wait, can you really do that?"

You were caught off guard with that question, so much so that you let out the most genuine "Huh?" in your entire life.

"Kirishima-san, my quirk is called Fusion, why wouldn't I be able to do that?"
