---------------------------------------------------------

Something was pulling you back in. You fought to open your eyes. You weren't sure what exactly was resisting you, but it went to great lengths to keep you from waking.

Finally, your eye cracked open slightly. From that small sliver of vision, you knew almost immediately where you were. You had grown all too familiar with this bright light that was shining down on you.

Your other eye cracked open, and you worked tirelessly to get both of them fully open. It was a slow process. The amount of light that entered your eye grew as they opened, but it didn't reveal a thing.

Everything in sight was an expanse of white, a white that you knew so well.

With both your eyes fully open, you could see the details in what you were looking at. Black lines, that surrounded the white tiles that made up the ceiling of your hospital bed.

It was different. That was nice. Variety is always a great thing to see, and the fact that you noticed it was also great.

You attempted to lift your head, but a sharp pain in your chest stamped that thought out quickly.

If you couldn't look around that way, then you'd settle for turning your head from side to side.

First, you turned over to your left. There was nothing to see, as the room ended a few meters in that direction. Some of the less important medical equipment that was strapped onto you was placed over here.

Slowly, as to not cause the pain to flare up in your chest, you turned over to the right. You were forced to close your eyes as you passed by the lights overhead, as they were intense.

Your head has completely turned to the right, but you struggled to open your eyes after the light blinded you. Slowly, your eyes opened.

What you saw shook you to your core.

There was a hospital bed on the other end of the room.

Lying on it, was Uraraka. She was motionless. She had an equal number of medical equipment attached to her that you did.

It pained you so much to see her like this. The problem was, you couldn't see her properly. From your bed you couldn't see her face, but that's all you wanted to do.

You had to see if she was okay. You wanted her to be okay. You needed her to be okay.

You began to pluck off everything that was connected to you. Moving your arms caused the pain in your chest to swell. Moving in general did, but you tried your best to ignore it.

Now that you were free, you began to roll to the right. You did it to move your body as little as possible, but it hurt either way.

You placed your feet on the ground to stand up, but you didn't have the strength to hold yourself up. The rest of your body slid off the bed, and you threw your arms out in front of you to block your chest from crashing into the ground.

Your arms didn't have the strength to support you either. As soon as they touched the floor of the hospital, they gave out, and you fell chest first onto the ground anyway.
