It wasn't long until you and Uraraka were called back to Rorah Seiyu. In fact, it had only taken a few days for Sun to reach out to you.
It had only taken a few days for him to make a breakthrough.
The two of you wasted little time. All you did was slip your hero costumes on before heading out. You didn't even bother waiting for a day in which you were free, as it was a school day.
It seemed like Sun had the courtesy to call you after school ended. He most likely knew if he called you earlier, you'd have walked out in the middle of class to hear what he had to say personally.
Now, you'd end up getting back just before midnight, at the earliest. He really should've waited for the weekend to say something, but judging by his tone of voice, he couldn't wait that long either.
This is just catching you up to speed. You and Uraraka had already arrived at Rorah Seiyu, and practically rushed through the facility to get to the door of Sun's laboratory.
In your hurry, you opened it without warning, just like last time. Inside, Sun seemed to be doing his actual work, so he wasn't startled by the suddenness of your practically forced entry.
"Hmph. I had a feeling you two wouldn't wait if I told you as soon as possible. I should've trusted my instincts. I was going to perform a few more tests before you came, but I guess we can get started." Was the spiel he gave you and Uraraka as you made your way over to your usual place at the counter.
"What did you find out?" You asked him without delay.
Sun continued to do his monotonous measuring and pouring of liquids while he spoke. It seems as if he was prepared to do a lot of talking and nothing else, as he made no attempt to stop what he was doing.
"I discovered how and why your body is able to restore itself, Y/N-san. I believe it's for the best if I explained that to you two first." Sun offered.
"Go ahead." Uraraka seemed intrigued to hear.
"Allow me to explain it in terms of your quirk, Y/N-san." He began.
"Hold on. What do you know about my quirk?" You interrupted him before he even began.
"Surely, you don't think someone as analytical as myself wouldn't have picked something up during our clash? I pieced some things about your quirk together then." He said rather confidently.
"You learned from your battle with Yugo, huh.....I'm sure you also asked Man Ying about it, didn't you?" Uraraka chimed in.
"Yes, well.....I'm sure we're correct. What we learned is a pretty massive clue into how it works anyway." Sun brushed Uraraka's question off.
"You can manipulate atoms, correct?" He asked.
"I can, yes. But that would mean I couldn't do anything with nonliving things. Atoms, would be more correct."
"So, it's both? Man Ying said you could allow things to pass through you, while I know for a fact you can construct things with it. But then, you're also able to combine yourself with others.....
Can you just do anything with your quirk, then?" He asked almost fearfully.
