A total of thirty people, none any older than twenty, were visible, crammed into both sides of the floor's corridors. They were packed so tightly that you couldn't see past them, despite how badly the human body was made for hiding things behind them.
That changed quickly.
"Get down!!" Someone yelled out from behind the sea of people.
Every gang member on either side of you ducked down, finally letting you see down the hall.
On the east side, shoulder to shoulder, were five gang members. Each one of them held assault rifles, which they pointed down the hall at the only people still standing. Their targets.
You took ahold of both Uraraka's and Tanahashi's wrist and pulled them back into your apartment. You kept all three of you in a permeable state with your quirk; both to pass through the walls and to allow any bullets to pass through you as they opened fire.
It was thunderous in volume, but quick as lightning, as the sound of gunfire disappeared immediately after your entry into the room. With how powerful the arsenal sounded, it was a small miracle that they decided their rifles wouldn't easily chew through the walls of the hotel.
With the door of the apartment being left open from you rushing out, the gang members began to flood into the room. There wasn't anyone for them to find however, as you all had already phased through the wall to get to the apartment next door.
"Tanahashi, the elevator?" You were quick to say, as you had no time for complete sentences.
"Next door. Maybe the corner." He gave you a couple choices just as swift, as he motioned towards the corner to your northeast.
The door to the apartment was suddenly blasted off, and more gangsters began to enter the room.
"Next door!" Uraraka answered for you as she took your wrist now.
The three of you began to run towards the wall in front of you. All the while, the intruders began to use their quirks to attack you from the door. A few of them even attempted to tackle you. With little success, thanks to your quirk.
The three of you passed through the west wall of the hotel room to get to the next one. Except, there was a problem. The gangsters had already busted into this room.
That left you no choice but to fight.
The three of you were positioned like a funnel. Relative to the door, Tanahashi was right in front of it, you were beside the end of the bed, and Uraraka was behind the bed. That's not something you planned though, that was simply the order the three of you came into the room.
Tanahashi picked up the nearest pieces of furniture and began to use them as weapons. He tossed a nightstand at the people coming in through the door before grabbing the long lamp next to it. He began to bash the gangsters with it, using it like a staff.
Uraraka attempted to stop the attackers as swiftly as possible by causing them to float. She had difficulty doing this however, as many of them seemed to be avoiding her touch.
The ones who carried weapons seemed to be targeting her as well. Uraraka wasn't completely defenseless against them, as she had her training with Gunhead that made things easier for her.
