"C'mon. You're the one who asked for it, you can't skimp out on me now that you actually have to find it." Mimitaka lectured someone right outside the door to your dorm room.

Opening it, she revealed (to absolutely no one) the fact that she was talking to Kaminari, who she had dragged all the way from her own room by the ear. She considered letting him go right then, but the very real chance he'd run off forced her to walk him first. For good measure, she closed the door.

"Sure, but I didn't think we'd just waltz into Y/N's room to look for it. Isn't this an invasion of privacy?" Kaminari asked, expressing himself with an excessive number of gestures.

"Hah? You of all people are concerned with invading other people's personal space? Y'know what, I don't think I need to go there, you gremlin." She had made it to her knees to begin searching your long cabinet, but she physically needed to stop to tell him off.

"Mineta is the gremlin. I prefer the term gnome." Kaminari corrected her, making his way over to the drawers to the right of Mimitaka, to make it seem like he was going to join the search. Going even further beyond, he decided to distract her from realizing he was doing nothing by keeping her talking.

"So, this whole thing has been yours the entire time? Honestly, I should've expected something like this: there's no way that room was big enough for someone like you." He slapped the top of the cabinet like it was the hood of a beat up car he was trying to get some poor sap to buy.

"Yeah, this was supposed to be in my room, but there was no way in hell I was sacrificing the TV stand for it. Yugo only ended up using the first three drawers on the left. When I found out they weren't using the rest of it for anything else, I had them get some of my stuff from home delivered and put in here. There wasn't enough space for everything, unfortunately." Mimitaka explained her first world problem, nonchalantly flaunting her wealth just as much as you tended to forget that you had it.

"Geez. Your whole room was brand new furniture, right? I don't know how you went around hating them for so long when they spoiled you rotten like this."

"You really need to do something about that selective hearing of yours. I'm pretty sure I spelled out the reason I hated my older sibling on that day, too." She replied, opening a drawer filled to the brim with older forms of media. CD cases made up a bulk of what was there, but there were a few records as well. Along with some DVDs for some reason.

Oh, that's why. Opening the next drawer down, it was packed entirely by DVD cases from all sorts of regions and languages. Again, there were also a few Blu-Ray discs thrown in randomly; Guess what the next drawer she opened contained.

Kaminari found her hoarding of physical media strange, but not enough to comment on it (aka, make fun of her for it). Instead, he turned his attention towards the karaoke machine next to the drawers. Its placement there was working just as you intended, as it completely distracted him from the mini fridge adjacent to it. Not that he'd drink the soda hidden within after what happened last time.

Discovering that it was plugged in, he began to tap through the various menus. Before Mimitaka could realize he was goofing off, he started to snicker like an idiot for some reason. She then missed her opportunity to blast him for it when he yelled out.

"No way! Jiro!" It sounded like he was trying to contain laughter. After not getting a response in five seconds, he took more drastic measures.

"KYOKA!!" He screamed out like a dying chicken, using her first name to ensure he gets a reaction from her. Hopefully, that reaction wouldn't be marching in and slapping him, that was his least favorite one.
