Hikisaku remerged from the staircase that led back up to the warehouse.

Inside, she was met with the heavy presence of heroes and police officers. They were waiting at the ready, most likely for the deadline that Kazero set for you two.

He had said to call him, but seeing was believing, and there the three of you were, right in front their eyes.

Hikisaku had Tanahashi's arm in her left hand, and she had dragged him up the entire set of steps.
Slung over her right shoulder, was you. Hikisaku was forced to carry your dead weight up as well as her own, as you were still unconscious.

Hikisaku took a few more steps forward before letting go of Tanahashi. He was immediately swarmed by the heroes and officers, as if he could possibly escape the situation he was in.

Hikisaku kept on walking. She was heading for the door to leave, but stopped by a few officers who blocked her path. They pointed behind her, and she turned around to see the chief of police of Coreleah, and Kazero.

"It seems that you we're successful." He said.

"We were, yeah." Hikisaku replied.

"What's down there?" He asked, not wasting any more time.

"I don't know if you'll believe this, but there's a city down there."

"What? Who's down there?"

"Refugees, according to Tanahashi himself."

"Ah! Refugees as in what sense?" Kazero asked, surprised to hear that.

Your eyes were still closed, and you were still slumped on Hikisaku's shoulder, but you spoke now.

"From all over the world. He said that they were brought here himself, along with his father."

"How many are there?" Kazero asked.

"Thousands." Hikisaku said.

"T-Thousands?! How can you be so sure? That can't be!" The police chief said, almost in a panic.

"Let me put it this way. How many people do you think could fit in a space that's 1 mile wide and 1 mile long?" You said weakly, but your words held a lot of weight.

"What? And they're from all over the world? As in from other countries!? Illegally?! Hey! I don't want anyone going down there! This isn't our jurisdiction anymore!" The police chief suddenly yelled out while walking off to gather his men.

Hikisaku and Kazero watched as he walked off.

"This makes this so much more difficult....." Kazero mumbled to himself.

Then he turned back to look at Hikisaku and you.

"You two better get out of here. Yugo-han, you're barely hanging on, it seems."

"Kazero, all the refugees down there. What's going to happen to them?" You asked him suddenly.

"Ah. Well, I can't be too sure. As the police chief said, it isn't something that they can act on." He responded.

"Those people, they need help. Tanahashi was the one providing them with everything they needed. Now, they need more help than ever."

"I hope that they get it." You finished, before passing out again, going limp on Hikisaku's shoulder.

"Yugo..... We're leaving Kazero." Hikisaku told him.
