The internships had finally ended, and you found yourself walking back into the classroom, with Hikisaku by your side.
"I was thinking of getting this new game series, but after looking it up, there's like, twelve of them in total." Hikisaku told you as you walked down the hallway to the classroom.
"Oh yeah? We could go look for some of them after school today." You offered to her, but she scratched her cheek at that.
"See, the thing is..... It's like a really old series, and some of the games are on consoles I don't have. I wasn't even born when some of them were released."
"Is that all? We could also go looking for those too. From what you told me, you did really well during your internship with....."
"Psycher."
"Right! After everything I heard about him and your internship, I think you deserve something big. We'll go looking after school, whatever we find is what we'll buy. Okay?"
You gave her a smile, and she looked away from you to the ceiling. Because of that, and of the low voice she said it in, you could barely hear her say 'Thank you....." as you reached the door of the classroom.
She looked down and opened it, and the two of you walked into class for the first time in a while.
"You two took your sweet time getting here! Would it kill you to show up a bit earlier?" Mina said from across the classroom in her seat, as she ran up to you and got in your face.
"Huh? Why are you here so early, Mina? I'm pretty sure that you never show up this early."
Hikisaku just nodded next to you, and Mina turned around with her arms crossed, as if she was offended by that accusation. It was done playfully, as she then turned back around and to start talking again.
"Well, I just wanted the time to hear how everyone's internships went! What other reason would I have to come this early?"
You shook your head, and smiled when you thought about what to say to her.
"You want to talk? I'm not surprised. You probably just want to hear all the gossip, don't you?"
She pouted, and turned back around again. This time she put a hand over her heart, as if what you said hurt her deeply. When she didn't turn back again, you decided to keep talking to her anyway.
"I mean, do you even need to talk with me? You were with Uraraka before you came up here, I'm sure everything that she told you is what I would end up telling you."
"I guess you're right. All right then Hikisaku, what about.....Huh?"
Mina turned around in the direction that prevented her free seeing the fact that Hikisaku had sat down a long time ago. She turned to look at her expectedly, and Hikisaku responded without so much as a glance.
"It was.....fine."
"What do you mean fine? That doesn't really help me out here at all! I swear, you two are too alike for your own good."
"Yugo rubbed off on me." She said, accusing you immediately.
"What! Come on! Don't just put the blame on me here!"
Hikisaku raised an eyebrow at you.
"Hm? Where else would I have learned it from Yugo?"
"Uhm, I, well, uh....." you just kept going like that for a few seconds, before running off to your desk without lifting your feet.
