Coreleah. A vast and old city of Japan, stretching for as far as the eye can see in the center of the island country. Because of its size, crime runs rampant here. Whether it happens silently in the alleys by small time crooks, or a big name villain ravages a part of the city, crime here never rests.

Neither do the heroes. From dozens of agencies across the city, they keep their section of this metropolis safe. They keep the constant variable of crime from overwhelming the citizens of Coreleah.

At the cost of their lives. That's the only rest that the heroes who find themselves here receive.

You and Hikisaku stood staring up at the massive building that was the Shokan agency. It was much more physically impressive than the buildings you and Hikisaku were in during the internship.
To be fair, most of the buildings in the city were about as tall as this one. The few that weren't were actually much bigger.

You slapped the back of your hand against Hikisaku lightly, to get her attention. Then you walked gingerly toward the doors of the building to enter the agency, and she followed, suitcases in hand.

You had sparred with Hikisaku the night before, and she had left a large burn on your stomach with her quirk. You tried your best to not aggravate it.

---------------------------------------------------------

Just like you would expect, there was an innumerable of heroes that were both rushing around the building, and leaving it.
You didn't notice anything happening around the city when you traveled in it to get here, but that may very well be because of how much work the heroes were doing.

Or the city is so massive, that all villain activity was in the many parts of the city you didn't see. Who knows.

Tired of standing near the door and getting bumped into by heroes as they left, you and Hikisaku walked over to the receptionist desk. It was actually a large square of desks in the center of the lobby, and all the receptionists that were there looked incredibly busy as well.

You and Hikisaku stood there for a few minutes before one of them finally acknowledged you.

"Is there something you two need? Normally, if you want something, you just go look for it."

"Do you know where we could find Fearsome Serpent?" You asked, but your voice was drowned out by the commotion in the building.

"Do you know where we could find Fearsome Serpent!?" Hikisaku yelled out, and this time the receptionist understood. A small smile crept up to their lips.

"Ah, you must really not know anything about this place if you're calling Director Lo that. She makes rounds across the building, making sure we're being productive. You can try finding her, but it would probably be easier to wait for her down here."

"Oh! Excuse me." The receptionist answered a couple phones beside them, and you both knew you weren't getting their attention again.

You and Hikisaku decided to wait in a corner of the lobby for a while, not wanting to get in anyone's way while you waited. The two of you watched the large variety of heroes that traveled through the lobby to get to wherever they needed to go.

Most were clearly people, but there were a few where you had to second guess yourself about them being human.

Finally, on the other side of the room, you saw as Director Lo slowly walked down the steps into the lobby. You recognized her from the pictures you looked up in the way here.
