---------------------------------------------------------

You really hoped that you wouldn't be interrupted during your search for On-Black-Feathers, but that didn't come to pass. There were two incidents throughout the day that involved heroes. And both had the heroes die in them.

It was for the best, you didn't get any closer to finding the informant, nor did you get a glimpse of the Hero Hunter in each incident.

---------------------------------------------------------

In the first case, you and Hikisaku were sitting in a cafe, taking a lunch break. Neither of you had much of an appetite, but that was understandable.

The sound of the radio caught you, and the rest of people in the cafe by surprise, and you hurried to quiet it so only you and Hikisaku could hear.

"We've got a situation over in Block Four of the city, any heroes available and in the area, please respond."

"Situation? Can you be more clear on what happened?"

"Well, from what has been reported..... it's the murder of a hero on the street. Witnesses say that he suddenly collapsed from a burst of blood."

"Son of a..... I'm on the scene now. There-There's a large hole in her head where an eye would be. Oh God....."

You turned the volume of the radio all the way down, as the sound of someone vomiting began to be heard immediately after.

You looked up at Hikisaku. After hearing the description of what happened, you were reluctant to go. From the look on Hikisaku's face, so was she.

Finally, she tilted her head towards the door. You and Hikisaku left the cafe, and your half uneaten lunch, briskly. As soon as you got outside, you flew upward using Hikisaku's quirk.

The city was divided into sixteen blocks, for the heroes to easily deduce where they needed to go, and which parts of the city fell under the jurisdiction of their agency.

These sixteen blocks were divided into a four by four grid, and counted from left to right. One to four is the first row, five to eight is the second, and so forth.

One, two, five, and six is where all the largest buildings reside, those owned by the largest companies in the city. Block Four would be to the far upper right, opposite of the ghetto that surrounds the warehouse and industrial portions of town in Blocks fifteen and sixteen to the bottom right.

From up in the air over Block Four, you and Hikisaku looked down every street to find the murdered hero. It wasn't too difficult to find, as the police had responded quickly to the second killing of a hero today. The scene was blocked off by police tape, and you ignored it completely as you came down from the sky into the crime scene.

Most of the police and heroes present threatened you immediately. However, some of the police present recognized you two, and managed to convince everyone else to stand down.

You looked over to the fallen hero, and saw the trail of red that extended far past her head on the ground. Neither of you wanted to, but you and Hikisaku walked over to get a closer look.

Sure enough, her eye was missing, and so was a good portion of her head around it, both in the front and the back.

"If this was the work of the Hero Hunter, then this must have been from a gun of some kind. But what could do.....this to a person?" You began to bend down to look, but didn't get too far before shooting back up to full height.
