You and Uraraka were woken up by a repeated flashing light. The two of you stirred, but eventually, you got fed up by how annoying it was. So, you lifted your head to find, and possibly destroy, the source.
It was Tanahashi. He was turning his flashlight on and off, which was his only feasible way to wake the two of you. He wasn't going to risk going over and shaking you awake directly.
Uraraka continued to stir restlessly. The opposite actually, she refused to wake up, despite Tanahashi's efforts. You were forced to shake her awake yourself, protecting Tanahashi by possibly incurring Uraraka's wrath yourself.
Luckily, nothing that serious happened. She was half asleep for only a few seconds, her eyes opening completely after she remembered where she was.
"I told you that you didn't have to worry." She said as the two of you sat up on your way back to your feet.
"Yeah, yeah....." You dismissed her teasing.
When the two of you were upright again, the first thing Uraraka did was look down at your stomach. The slash was still very clearly there, which is to be expected. You spent the same time asleep as you did walking, and you barely healed then.
Though, the bleeding had long since stopped, and the blood that surrounded the slash had disappeared. Or more accurately, your body reabsorbed it passively through your quirk.
The rest of your wounds were like that as well. Uraraka seemed to find solace in the fact that you were no longer bloody. It gave you the appearance of being fine, but your wounds could easily be reopened at anytime.
To keep her at peace, you slowly packed up your things, making sure not to make any sudden movements or not to overexert yourself. Uraraka finished long before you did, and ended up helping you.
"You didn't get enough sleep, did you?" She asked, while picking up your backpack for you.
"Something like that." You responded as you carefully took your backpack from her.
The three of you continued exploring the sewers, for what felt like far too long. Three hours of searching already felt ridiculous, but two more sealed the deal for Tanahashi.
"What the hell? Do you think there's a possibility we were lied to?" He asked in an annoyed tone more than an anything else.
"Yeah, there's a chance. But it's also our only lead." That was hardly an answer, but constantly telling yourselves this is what got you this far.
"Liu Man Ying entering the sewers like Metai-san described could've been the first time she did it. Or, she was already set up in here, and she had the know-how to get back to it from the sewers." Uraraka speculated.
"I see. Just because she entered the sewers from the grate near Aitsu, doesn't mean she's set up near there." You put together a theory from what she said.
"Or, maybe she's not in the sewers at all." Tanahashi proposed a more pessimistic theory.
The three of you soon walked into a large, wide open space. Judging by the number of pipes and machinery in this area, this room was essential. Though, there weren't enough things set up in the room to warrant it being so big.
