"Let's see now.... I think it's just about time to start our final event! It'll be..... a good old fashioned tournament, with lots of one on one action!"
"The students will battle their hearts out to see who has it all! The strength, the determination, the intelligence, the passion..... Oh I can't wait! Let's take a look at the bracket for this tournament, shall we?"
Midnight said, as uncomfortable as ever, and sure enough the bracket was revealed to both the crowd and the students.
You were paired against the greatest man to ever set foot on this earth, a shining example of a human being!
Or at least that's how he would view himself anyway, as you had to fight Monoma, in the first round. Ironically, you didn't even know who he was, and you had to ask Midoriya who you were up against.
Hikisaku looked up at the bracket, and immediately facepalmed at the name she read below her own.
'Mineta? How did he even get this far?'
Is all that she thought about, other than the fact that this was an easy ticket to the next round.
The two of you went up to the stands to sit with the rest of Class 1A. You waited rather patiently, but Hikisaku was more fired up than the class had ever seen before.
As she paced along the railing in anticipation, the rest of the class looked at her in fear.
"Is Hikisaku-san ok, Y/N? Did she have a lot of sugar or something, ribbit?" Tsuyu whispered into your ear.
"Hm? No, I mean, yeah she did, but that's not the reason why she's like this. Do you see the bracket? She's on the same side as Bakugo, and she really wants to kick his a..... uhm.... give him a piece of her mind."
Hikisaku turned around suddenly and pointed at him in the stands above.
"Your ass is mine, you hear me!"
He shouted back at her, and attempted to jump, but he was held back by Kirishima.
"You won't even have an ass once I'm done kicking it!" Then he made kicking motions in the air.
"You are too, ribbit. Actually you'll meet Bakugo in the next round, if he manages to beat Uraraka, that is. Then, if you beat him, that would leave you against Hikisaku in the third." she said louder than she should've. This let Mina butt into the conversation.
"Hey, you know what'd be even crazier? If you and Uraraka got to fight in the second round! Now that's something I'd pay to see! Don't you think Uraraka?"
Uraraka had been staring off into the distance, but once she heard her name she snapped out of it.
"Huh? Oh yeah, sure Mina."
You looked at her. Her face, her eyes, they told you that she was troubled by something, but if she didn't want to bring it up, then you didn't think it was your place to mention it.
Suddenly, her eyes met yours, and she seemed to guess that you could read her like an open book from your eyes, since she immediately turned away.
The first match of the whole thing was Midoriya versus Shinso. You weren't really sure what happened during it, but Midoriya did manage to pull off a win.
You cheered him on like an idiot the whole way through, and Hikisaku just sat there, arms crossed at what you were doing. When Ida went up for his fight, you started cheering like crazy again, leaning against the railing, and he acknowledged it by giving you a wave.
