With about twenty students eyeing him, all of whom made clear what would happen if he didn't, Aizawa had little choice but to speak now. His spiel beforehand was little more than him saving face, but it did come from a good place.
He's made it very clear that he cares for his students, you included.

He just had much more confidence in the coordinated plans of his fellow Pro Heroes than Hikisaku's very obviously emotionally driven actions. Not many can blame him for believing that.

"A hero made visual contact with Delta Force about two hours ago. Their first instinct was to go down and make complete contact with him, they told us that much, but I made the order for them to tail him instead." Aizawa began, making sure to reveal his heavy involvement.

"From what we were told by this hero, there is a lot that points to the psychic theory.
First off, Delta Force was moving erratically. That doesn't even begin to describe it actually. From the video, it looked like he was walking around for the first time in his life."

"The what?" Hikisaku cut him off. She was in sheer disbelief that he decided to reveal that as an aside.

"Well, yes. The hero captured the entire pursuit on video with their phone. We didn't know about it until they showed us, but they assured me it required very little effort." He explained, though that wasn't why Hikisaku brought it up.

"OK, but do you have it on you? Don't you think just showing it to us would be better than explaining it?" Hikisaku asked him.

"I actually think he should be doing both." Ida said from somewhere in the room, a reasonable request.

"Fine. Hold on....." Aizawa's voice trailed off, as he pulled out his phone to begin browsing through it.

In no time at all, his flurry of fingers came to an end as he found what he was looking for. He rotated his phone to put it in landscape mode, and extended his arm out to show that the encounter had indeed been recorded.

It was about thirty minutes long, at an impressive resolution for a video at dusk, and just as strange as he described.

"No way is this someone in control of their own faculties. You can also see that Delta Force is attempting to move in the shadows, but he's not doing it particularly well. I'm surprised he wasn't spotted earlier." Aizawa narrated, along with his own comments.

"Do you not find that strange, Aizawa-sensei? When L/N-san was caught on tape, their movements were actually more nimble than normal. Could these disappearances really be related?" Yaoyorozu began to pick apart the video.

"I never said that they were related. I said that Delta Force led us to a hideout of some kind, but I explicitly said that we couldn't confirm whether or not L/N is there. If this doesn't lead us to them, then at least we took down another plot." Aizawa reiterated, not for Yaoyorozu and the class, but for Hikisaku specifically. An attempt to dissuade her from going to search on her own, that probably wasn't going to work.

"Well, maybe you should show and talk about this hideout, then. Unless you believe that the entire video is worth watching." Hikisaku hurried him along.

Without taking his eyes off of her, Aizawa brought his hand inward to make the screen more accessible. Then, with his free hand, he blindly brought a finger to the screen to drag the video's progress bar.
He somehow managed to get it to the tail end, as only four minutes remained.
