It was nearing the end of summer, and that meant it was time for you to head back to U.A., to situate yourselves in the dorm building that was Heights Alliance.

You had said your goodbyes to your mom, at her request.

"Mom, come on! It's not like I'm going to be gone long! It's just until the heroes figure everything out with the League of Villains, I'm sure it won't take that long."

"I know. It's just..... I've never been separated from you this long before.
From the moment you were born, the only constant in our family was the two of us. Me and you, under one roof, it's all I've known for ten years. I don't know if I can....."

She was on the verge of tears from her first word, her voice quivering more and more as each second passed by. She broke then and there, and you found yourself hugging her tightly to calm her down.

That happened very quickly, as she melted into your grasp.

When you felt that she was okay, when her sniffling stopped, you pulled away from her. You looked up at her slightly, stared into her eyes for a few seconds, before smiling.

"Seeya mama!" You said, as happily as possible so that she wouldn't break down again.

"Goodbye Yugo." She said simply, with a wave.

You waved back, and opened the door to leave. You stopped before you walked out of the door to wave at her again, then you stepped out, and closed the door behind you, a few couple bags in hand.

You grabbed the suitcase next to the door, and walked over to the railing. You looked down to see Hikisaku waiting for you impatiently on the sidewalk.

She was sitting on a suitcase of her own, and it looked like it was fighting for its life from all the weight that was on top of it.

She stood up, and motioned her arms upward, telling you to throw the suitcase down to her. You obliged, and threw it as hard as you could, since that was the only way it would've gone that far. Hikisaku ended up having to stumble forward to catch it.

When she pulled it down from blocking her view, she watched as you jumped down from the second floor.

"Let's head out then. We've got to get to the meet up. I don't want to know what happens if we're late."

"Knowing Aizawa-sensei, he'd probably end up making us sleep outside."

"I believe that. Since you're already holding it, you can bring my suitcase to the station." You said, walking off with a spring in your step.

"Oh yeah? You're closer to mine, so you can go ahead and grab it." She said, dropping your suitcase to the ground and wheeling it off, arcing around you so she wouldn't end up closer.

You scratched your head as you watched her walk down the sidewalk leisurely, before heading off after her.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Well, well, well. Aren't you a sight for sore eyes L/N." Jiro said as you and Hikisaku approached Heights Alliance.

A number of students had already gathered in front of the entrance, and she was the first to notice you.
