Frank paces around the counter, his tiny sausage form practically vibrating with frustration. It's late, the store is quiet, and only a few dim lights flicker above. Y/n, sitting on the edge of the counter, watches him with a mix of curiosity and amusement.
"Can you believe this shit?" Frank finally says, his voice tinged with disbelief. "Every time you turn around, another Disney movie is getting a sequel. I mean, what the fuck? It's like they've got a goddamn assembly line cranking these things out."
Y/n raises an eyebrow, intrigued by Frank's sudden outburst. "What do you mean?"
Frank stops pacing and looks directly at Y/n, his expression a mixture of exasperation and exhaustion. "Take Frozen, for example. First, they hit us with Frozen 2. Okay, fine, whatever, but now they're talking about Frozen 3 and Frozen 4! How many times do we need to hear 'Let It Go' before our brains start melting out of our ears?"
Y/n chuckles, the mental image of Elsa singing until the world goes numb amusing them more than it should. "I guess people really love those movies."
"Yeah, but it's not just Frozen," Frank continues, his frustration spilling over. "They did Incredibles 2 after what, fourteen years? And now we will get Incredibles 3. And then Toy Story 4 after we all thought it was over with Toy Story 3. And now they're already planning Toy Story 5. You can't just keep bringing the same toys back to life and expect everyone to be on board forever!"
Y/n nods slowly, understanding where Frank is coming from. "It's like they're afraid of trying something new."
"Exactly!" Frank exclaims, throwing his tiny sausage hands in the air. "And what's with *Finding Dory?* Did we really need a whole movie just to find her? I mean, how lost can a fish get?"
Y/n can't help but laugh at that, imagining Dory wandering aimlessly through endless oceans. "She does have memory problems, Frank."
Frank snorts, clearly unimpressed. "Yeah, well, maybe we're the ones with memory problems for going along with this sequel madness. And don't even get me started on *Zootopia 2.* They're bringing in some reptile named Gary, who's apparently gonna cause all kinds of chaos. Like, what the hell? A reptile? Are we just running out of ideas for mammals now?"
Y/n shrugs, unsure of what to say. "Gary might be interesting?"
Frank shakes his head, unconvinced. "Maybe, but it's still just another cash grab, plain and simple. And now Inside Out 2 had one billion boz office and already talking about Inside Out 3. How many times are we supposed to watch Riley deal with emotions? At this rate, we'll be getting 'Inside Out: Retirement Home Edition' before we know it."
Y/n laughs, the absurdity of Frank's rant cutting through the seriousness of his frustration. "I see your point. It's all just about making more money."
Frank sighs, his anger giving way to a resigned sort of weariness. "Yeah, and the worst part is, they know we'll keep watching. We're suckers for nostalgia, and they've got us right where they want us."
Y/n reaches out, gently patting Frank's tiny head. "Maybe one day they'll surprise us with something original again."
Frank looks up at Y/n, his expression softening just a bit. "Yeah, maybe. But until then, I guess we're stuck with Frozen 7 and Toy Story 10. Here's hoping we don't all go insane in the process."
Y/n smiles, feeling a strange kinship with the little sausage. They sit together in the quiet store, the weight of Frank's rant settling into the silence around them, a reminder of a world where originality seems harder and harder to find.
