America Chavez sat on a weathered couch in the Sanctum Sanctorum, casually scrolling through Twitter. She paused when a particular headline grabbed her attention: "DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE surpasses 'Barbie' as the 12th highest-grossing film in the domestic box office." America smirked. "Well, Wade's going to brag about this for weeks."

Just then, she heard footsteps coming down the hall. Y/n appeared, carrying a cup of tea and seemingly lost in thought. America's eyes lit up as she saw her friend. She'd been wanting to ask something for a while, but never quite found the right moment. She decided now was as good a time as any.

"Hey, Y/n!" America called out, setting her phone down and hopping up from the couch. "Got a minute?"

Y/n smiled warmly. "Sure, what's on your mind?"

America hesitated, fidgeting for a second before blurting out, "What's the secret to dating Thor? Like, how did you do it for so long? I mean, with him being... well, Thor. Always busy with the Avengers, and then there's his whole drinking thing."

Y/n chuckled softly, clearly not expecting the question but also not surprised that America had been curious about it. She leaned against the doorway, thinking for a moment before answering. "The truth is... there's no secret formula. It's messy. Thor's... complicated. He's got a big heart, but yeah, he drinks, he's reckless, and he's constantly fighting some cosmic threat. But when you make a decision with your heart, you stay with it."

America tilted her head, processing the words. "So, you just... stuck with him through all that?"

"Yeah," Y/n nodded. "You have to. Love's not always perfect, but if you choose it, you keep choosing it. Even when it's hard."

America looked down, her expression softening. She thought about her mothers—the memory of losing them, the pain of searching through countless dimensions, the loneliness that followed her wherever she went. "I miss my moms," she said quietly, voice tinged with a deep sadness. "But I know I'll find them. I have to believe that. And I love them. No matter what universe they're in."

Y/n placed a comforting hand on America's shoulder. "And they know that. Just like Thor knew I loved him, no matter how far apart we were sometimes."

America gave a small, hopeful smile. "Yeah, I guess love sticks with you, huh?"

"Always," Y/n said softly. "It's stronger than any distance, any challenge. Even across universes."

They stood there in a comfortable silence, the weight of the conversation settling in. America glanced back at her phone and the silly Twitter headline, realizing how small some things seemed in comparison to what really mattered.

She looked at Y/n again, grateful for the advice. "Thanks. I think I needed to hear that."
