"Don't hurt my brother, or I'll kill you myself. And while we're at it, let's be real—I don't like you," Y/n said, her tone cold and direct before she turned on her heel and walked away like it was no big deal.

Angel Dust watched her go, then glanced back at me with that signature cocky grin of his. "So, can we enjoy the rest of our time now, babe?"

I blinked at him, still processing what had just happened. "Aren't you upset she just flat-out told you she doesn't like you? I mean, that was pretty harsh."

Angel shrugged, totally unfazed. "Nah, who cares? The one I want is right here." His grin widened as he stepped closer, his long arm slipping around my waist as he leaned in for a kiss.

His lips were soft but with a wild edge, teasing and playful. The feeling it sparked in me was intense, a rush that made my heart race, and nothing compared to the vibe I got from being around Husk. Angel was different—he had this raw energy about him, something fierce but fun, a mix of chaos and charm that pulled me in like gravity. I couldn't deny it—it attracted me in a way I hadn't felt before.

I pulled back from the kiss, breaking it with a playful grin. "How about we start with cotton candy?" I said, throwing my hands up like a kid in excitement.

Angel laughed, his voice sharp and filled with amusement. "Cotton candy, huh? Sure thing, doll—whatever you want."

We made our way to the cotton candy stand, the sugary clouds spinning in the machine in a rainbow of colors. After grabbing our treats, Angel nudged me with one of his long arms, a sly look in his eyes.

"Let me try yours," he teased, leaning in as if he were about to steal a piece of my cotton candy.

I pulled it back just out of his reach, smirking. "Only if you give me some of yours first."

Angel laughed, his wild energy lighting up the moment. He tore off a piece of his cotton candy and handed it to me, and we traded bites like two mischievous kids at a carnival. As we walked through the bustling fair, my hand tucked into his, it felt easy and fun. For once, I wasn't thinking about Husk, Y/n, or anyone else. It was just me and Angel, sharing sweet moments in the chaos, and for a brief moment, everything felt perfect.
