"Nines, look at me." You demanded as he looked down at you, his usually alive eyes filled with sadness. "Are you listening to me?"

He nodded his head lightly as you swiped the tear that had fallen away.

"Firstly you need to stop being like that." You told him as he just stared at you.

"What is second?" He questioned his voice coming out small.

"You may think you aren't what I need but, you're what I want. Which is so much more important than a need. I want you, Nines." You told him, you immediately saw his LED racing through every colour it could be.

"But-"

"No buts. Nines I don't need you to change nor do I want you to change, I want to be with you because of who you are now. The whole point of a relationship is learning and growing together." You explained cutting him off before he could continue to say you needed something else.

You felt as if he would compare himself to Connor if you let him keep speaking, you didn't want him to do that. He was better than Connor already and the two of you weren't even in a relationship, Nines didn't get jealous over stupid things like Connor.

Nines had nothing to be jealous of and he knew it.

"I just do not want to disappoint you, what if I end up being a bad partner?" Nines questioned, what he clearly didn't realise was that this entire time you'd been waiting he'd proven that he was a partner anyone would want.

"Nines, I get this is new to you but I swear to god I will hit you if you keep doubting yourself. You and I both know you were designed to be perfect." You commented as Nines' LED pulsed amber.

"I suppose that is true, but I do not want to end up being like RK800, he hurt you." Nines explained, you stared at the dorky Android who had stolen your heart and shook your head at him.

"Well, he did." You began stopping for a moment, it was crazy to you.

One moment you were with Connor thinking the world had finally given you something good, but it turned sour quickly. Whereas the thing you thought was the world's way of saying fuck you, was the thing that was good for you.

"Y/N?" Nines called out to you, snapping your focus back onto him.

"Hmm?"

"I want to be with you, more than anything and I promise you I will never intentionally hurt you and if I do by accident I promise I will fix it, but that's never going to happen because I will not allow it. That is beside my point though, I will be whatever you want me to be. Your personal chef? I will be that." Nines said and you couldn't help the laugh that fell from your mouth, even when confessing his feelings he was still being a weirdo.

"I'd much rather you just be my boyfriend, but if you want to be my personal chef I won't stop you." You laughed as Nines frowned for a moment, before a wide smile stretched across his face.

"You ruined my perfectly planned speech I had in my head."

"I'm sorry... I'm not." You snorted, you believed that he genuinely had a speech written in his head somewhere.

He seemed odd enough to do that.

"I do not even know if I want to be with you now... you ruined it..." Nines sighed, but you could see the small smirk on his lips.

"Fine, I don't wanna be with you either." You huffed as you pulled away from him completely and crossed your arms over your chest, sulking.

"Y/N." You heard Nines say, but you ignored him.
