Soon enough you were walking into the courtroom with Samuel's grandfather by your side, the others were near the front with the prosecutor. You were pulled into an aisle by Samuel's grandfather as you both took a seat.

"You shouldn't worry, Detective, those Androids will win this case for us." He said to you as you gave him a small nod.

"Just call me, Y/N." You told him as your conversation ended, you knew it was about to begin.

The moment the judge entered the courtroom you knew what was to happen next, you'd been to so many trials in the past it would have been a breeze for you, if you weren't appearing as a victim.

You tried so hard not to look in the direction of the defence, you didn't want to look at her knowing either your anger would resurface or you'd just break down. You just faced the front, Nines turned his head to catch a glimpse at you, you didn't dare do anything, knowing that you were on the verge of a break down.

The judge soon mentioned opening statements, the prosecutor instantly stood from their seat and walked into the open looking directly at the Jury.

"This is a case full of the brutality and discrimination, of one woman. The defence will tell you she is innocent, but I'm here to prove to you that is not the case. She rallied people and riled up their hate for Androids, twisting them and making them see human and Android couples as the enemies." The prosecution began and as he pointed towards the defence stand, you dared to glance in that direction.

You only saw the back of her head, but that was enough to make your blood boil.

"She then proceeded to plan out heinous attacks with her people, slaughtering innocent couples who just wanted to love one another. They will tell you that some of her people came up with the ideas, but she was the mastermind behind it all, she had but one goal. Wipe out any Android and human couples. It didn't matter who they were, they were a target."

You started to zone out from what the prosecutor was saying, you knew the moment he was finished it would be the defence attorneys turn, their turn to try and feed lies to the jury.

Looking over the jury you noticed that at least two of them were Androids, you knew that they'd see things logically and emotionally. But you also felt bad that they would have to hear about and see things that were done to their species.

A feeling of nausea washed over you, no matter how many deep breaths you took it just wouldn't go away. You had no idea how much time had passed, you also had no idea what had else been said by the prosecutor.

"Now to the defence." You heard the judge call out as your head snapped towards the defence attorney, the woman stood and moved towards the jury.

"Today a woman will stand before you, being accused of these heinous crimes, but I'm here to tell you the truth. She is innocent. She did not make anyone act out these crimes, she had no involvement in these crimes. Some of these people she does not even know, she's here because our Police Department needed someone to blame." The defence attorney began, fire ran through your veins, anger filled every space in your body.

This woman was not innocent, she had even admitted it herself.

She was cruel, unfeeling and frankly evil.

You just couldn't believe what you were hearing.

"A bunch of lies!" Samuels grandfather angrily whispered next to you, you felt the same anger he did.

"My client is not guilty, the prosecution will pull many different witnesses to the stand and try to convince you she is guilty-"

In that moment you zoned out once again, dread coursing through your body as well as the anger.
