The Fluvius Cantatis
A unique way to "get in touch" with the local fauna.
The Fluvius Cantatis is a river in the forest. Coming into contact or drinking its water will turn the person into a monster based on their personality. Not sure how it got here, but it's defiantly different that anything else I've encountered.

I wonder what my sister would turn into? She always did enjoy unicorns and mermaids...
Unintentionally, I came into contact with the water (thus learning about its powers). Not very happy with the results- I seem to have become a cervitaur, a creature who's half human, half deer. My binder had disappeared upon transformation, but luckily I had another.
Did some sort of witch or wizard curse the river?
After some searching, I've discovered a flower deep in the forest that, once ground up and eaten, will chance a monster back to their original forms. Unfortunately, the flower lies in the fairies' territory. It's difficult to retrieve the flower, but the fairies are usually open for a trade.
