The cracks in the dry wall ran almost parallel to each other, despite how uneven they all were. The paint is old and peeling, losing it's once vibrant color. The ceiling fan buzzed as you stated upward. Tears continue running down the sides of your face but the pokerface remains, making you look dead. The past few months play through your mind in a dark montage that continues breaking you down internally. But don't feel too discouraged, he wasn't doing any better.

Eridan had been a mess ever since you broke it off with him. He just wasn't the same without you. No more arguing with Cronus about the better one was. No Karkat calling him stuck up and cussing at him, just Karkat (among others) trying to help him. It was driving you crazy, it was driving you crazy. What were you thinking? Gog damn your stupidity and insecurities!

It was final, you needed to see him again.

You grabbed your car keys and headed out the door and into the car. You started it up, and backed up out of your driveway and started your drive to his hive. The drive gave you more time to rethink the past couple months. All the mistakes, all the misery, everything.

You arrived and pulled up into his driveway. You removed the keys from the ignition and took a deep breath before exiting the car and approaching his door. You knocked.

"Wwho is it?" Eridan asked

"Its.. me." You said

"F/n?" Eridan asked as he unlocked the door and opened it.

"Wwhat are you glubbing doing here?" He asked

"I've been.. having some regrets and I-" You answered

"Don't." He says sternly

You look up to meet his gaze. He extended his arms and you ran into them, you broke down into tears as he embraced you. He planted a kiss on your forehead.

"I'm so sorry Eridan!" You sobbed

"Me too" He said softly

You both drop to your knees, esmbracing each other and crying. It was actually quite nice. Feferi and Karkat walk out. She smiles patting oth your heads while Karkat just rolls his eyes saying something along the lines of 'took you long enough'.
