[Dance With Devils] Rem x Reader

Aaaaaaaaa this was a mess. I just found out about the series and I immediately needed to write a oneshot. Sorry if it sucks.

Modesty

In your opinion, you were nothing special. You were just your average Joe. Or perhaps your average Bob. You had a family and friends. You had lived a fulfilling life so far. To others, you wove beautiful webs of stories. You entertained the young ones and occasionally the elders at even a young and ripe age. You always loved telling stories. Your mother and father told you that you would do great things one day, but you figured they were blowing things out of proportion.

You step into the school, adjusting your uncomfortable uniform. It made you itch and fidget but you decided to bare through it for the sake of education.

You were awkwardly tall was You always hated being in between sizes, it made your body appear rather unproportionate.

The gossip from the other teenagers around you fires up and people stare at you. But your attention is ripped away from things when your friend tackles you.

"F/n!" Rita cheers

"Ah, Rita just the girl I was looking for." You chuckle

Yolzen comes running after her. You sit up and smile warmly at her. Yolzen just hits you upside your head. The sound echos throughout the hallway, silencing the gossiping kids around you.

"F/n you idiot!" She shouts "What did you do this time!?"

You hold your now bruised cheek in silence. You look up to see a teary eyed Yolzen.

"Eh!?" You ask

"You better not have story-booked yourself into a corner!"

"Yolzen? What do you-"

"People are saying you've been selling panty shots to boys!" She yells

Your face goes red. You quietly cover your mouth, letting out a snort. Your body shakes with laughter until you can't hold it in anymore. Rita and Yolzen stare at you. Yolzen couldn't believe her eyes, while Nina was trying not to laugh with you.

You stand up to your feet and place your hands on her shoulders, smiling brightly.

"Whoever started that rumor is silly, Yolzen." You state warmly

You tilt your head adding a now closed eye smile. You pull her into a hug. The vibe you were putting off was very confusing to say the least.

"You know I would never do that. I'm not a pervert." You insist

You release her and turn to Nina, who was just standing there. You smile at her as well, earning a smile in return.

"I tried to tell her." Nina waves it off sheepishly "But she wanted you to prove yourself."

"Ah, still don't trust me I see." You nod to her

"W-Well I-"

"Don't defend yourself. I wouldn't trust me either personally. You only met me yesterday after all." You shrug "But what's done is done."
