~Flashback Start~

You got in the driver seat of your dad's car hurriedly. Liu jumped into the passengers seat. Jeff jumped in the back sitting in the middle.

You grin back at both boys before slamming the keys into the ignition and turning them. Your dad bursts out the front door waving a shotgun and shouting at your trio. You slam your sandal protected foot on the gas and speed out of the driveway and with a sharp pain of the wheel you turn before leaving the driveway. You all let out shouts of entertainment, ignoring the concequences to come.

Adrenaline was rushing through the three of you as you sped through the different back roads. You were all curious to see where you'd end up. You're eyes were so focused on the road you didn't notice Liu looking over to you, blushing. You honked the horn and laughed with Jeff. You glanced over to Liu, flashing him a mischievous grin. Your eyes quickly darted back to the road. You shifted straight into 4th gear.

~Flashback End~

Liu stared at you through the window of your bedroom. Wishing he could gather the courage to see you and talk to you again. But now, he was different and he was much older. He wasn't the young 14 year old you once knew. He was now 23 and you were at least 21. He feared that if he went to meet you again, it'd bring of the trauma you'd experienced when he disappeared. And that's what hurt him most.

~Flashback Start~

"MOVE! GET OUT OF MY WAY MY BEST FRIEND IS IN THERE!"

"I'm sorry but I can't let you in now please, let the par-AMEDICS OW! JESUS CHRIST!" The officer is cut off by a sharp kick to his nuts "STOP HER!"

You rush onto the scene and into the house. You look around frantically before sprinting up the stairs and down the hall into his room. You look around before spotting his bloody body lying on the ground. The ceiling had collapsed from the fire on top of him. You dig him out and pick his head up, resting it on your lap. You run your hands through his messy locks.

"LIU!" You cry out over and over

You scream and cry, throwing your head around. You slam your hands down on the ground, getting a mix of drying blood and charcoal on them.

"LIU YOU CANT LEAVE ME!" You shout "GET UP YOU PIECE OF SHIT! GET UP!"

Your mother, the head officer arrives up on the level with you. She rushes over to you and kneels pulling you into a tight hug. She pushes you away, but keeps a firm grip on your shoulders.

"F/n! F/n! SNAP OUT OF IT!" She slaps you

You pause and reach up to touch your stinging cheek. You stare at her, the tears still falling.

"Honey he's gone! I know it hurts, but you need to snap out of this! I can't arrest you again!" She shouts

"He's gone mom.. He's *hic* He's really gone.."

"I know sweetie.. I know.. Come here.."

She softens up, wrapping her arms back around you and bringing you close. You continue crying as the male officer from before rushes up.

"Need help officer L/n?"

"I've got this one Gerald.. Thank you"

"Of course."

He didn't want your trauma to come back and haunt you.

Liu didn't notice your window open until he saw you staring. He prepares to jump down from the tree and run.

"Liu wait! Get back here and give me a kiss you piece of shit!" You hiss angerily at him

"W-What?"

"Before it sets in and I have a panic attack! Hurry up!"

Liu crawls over to the closet branch in front of your window. He kisses you quickly and you smile.

"I missed you." You say softly "Now go, I don't want you seeing me like how I'm about to be."

"Aren't you gonna ask?"

"You'll be back won't you?"

"Yeah but-"

"I'll ask then"

"Okay.."

He jumps down and takes off into the woods.
