In Flames - Ghost Town
You glance over at him with wide eyes.
"YOU WHAT?!"
"Scold me later! We have to tell them that it's not Kertz!" He explains
"Shitshitshit..uhh T-Take this!" You say
You practically throw a large piece of paper at him and a permanent marker.
"Good idea!" He says
He quickly scribbles something down and waves it around on the monitor. He watches as 10k glances over, he turns back.
Your both watch helplessly as Doc is shot and the scene before you unfolds. You jump up towards the monitor but Citizen Z holds you back.
"DOC!" You shout
"You can't do anything!" He corrects you
"Oh my God." You cover your mouth
You watch as the mission target runs off. You put your hands atop your head.
"Please God not again with this shit!" You exclaim "Why does he keep running?"
Citizen Z switches the camera to the contamination area where he's fiddling with the door. Citizen Z tries talking him out of it. But he busts through the door anyway, setting off the alarms and the missiles.
He pulls up the missile direction paths on one of the screens. You stare for a moment at them before your emotions start going into overdrive. Not only were you only trained to handle computers, you were never taught how to handle these types of situations properly.
"Z WE'RE GOING TO DIE HERE!" You scream into his face as you shake him
"[F/N], WE HAVE A MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM!" He shouts "Oh my God wait."
Z gets up, rushing out of the room and through the facility, his husky still sitting. You get up and run after him.
You both stare at the approaching missile as it comes. You listen as the computer announces the automated missile defense system has activated. You grab him and turn him to you
"WAIT, I'VE NEVER EVEN HAD MY FIRST KISS!" You shout
"What? You're losing it!" He says
"I know I am! Just kiss me!" You exclaim
You pull him into a deep kiss silencing the both of you. The missiles connect and the explosion rings out causing you both to go flying back. You're knocked out.
