[Adventure Time] BMO x Reader

Beep beep

You stare up at the great tree as you clutch your arms around yourself. The rain hammered down on the land behind you but all you could do was shiver and shake. Maybe you could seek refuge. You knock loudly but no one answers. You press the top of your head against the door with a disappointed sigh.

After a moment of sulking and internal agony you notice the door knob. You quickly straighten up and look around suspiciously. Before you wrap your hand around it and turn it. It was unlocked, to your surprise.

You awkwardly walk in, listening as your shoes make an audible squishing sound that you'd become aware of.

You look around, wrapping your arms back around yourself. Standing there, awkwardly you call out.

"Is anyone home?" 

Silence. You sigh, there was no way this place was empty and unlocked. Maybe it was abandoned. You shrug walking up to the ladder and grasping it, beginning to climb up. 

"I'm not hearing a no!" You laugh quietly

Upon reaching the first floor, you look around once more. Out of the corner of your eye in the dark tree house, you see something little scurry past you. You spin around, eyes wide as you scan the room. 

"Hello?" You ask

Once again, silence.

"That better not be my imagination."

Another figure scurries past you, running behind you with small pattering footsteps. You spin around and grab whatever it was out of instinct.

"Please put me down! Help!  Finn! Jake!" The creature exclaims in a small timid voice 

"It's okay lil guy.. I won't hurt you."

You pat it's head lovingly and hold them against your chest as it thrashes around. You walk over to a window and hold it up in the moonlight, seeing a little game system with a pixelated face. All it showed for emotion was fear.

You turn around and continue walking until you plop down on the couch with the small creature in your lap.

"I promise I won't hurt you.." You say softly

The game system is hesitant at first, but eventually stops fighting you. 

"What's your name anyway? Mine is F/n."

"I'm Bmo.." He says,

Maybe he got the realization that you weren't here to attack him.

"Hi Bmo." You greet properly, looking down at him with tired eyes

A silence settles between the two of you awkwardly. You spend a moment looking around the decked out room, appreciating the scenery. The place was impressive.

"Would you like some food?" Bmo asks, earning your attention

"You don't have to." You smile politely 

"Please." He insists

You set him down and follow him to the side of the room. A light is flicked on and you can now both see each other clearly. One of your ears twitched at the tips. You were almost as small as he was. Which was nice being as he was the smallest of his friends.

"Can I at least help?" You ask awkwardly

"Of course.." He smiles
