[Ed, Edd, n' Eddy] Edd x Reader

My friend recently got braces while I recently got mine off. I was inspired to write this oneshit. 

Braces

Double D was always good with these sorts of things so you'd decided to tell him first and get some advice.

If it wasn't Kevin picking on you it was Eddy. If it wasn't Eddy them then it was the Kanker sisters. If it wasn't them it was Rolf embarrassing you. If it wasn't Rolf it was Johnny. If it wasn't either of them it was Ed, being the obnoxious and oblivious thing he is. Nazz never really spoke to you because of how awkward you were in social situations. While Sarah kept Jimmy away because you were a bit strange in her eyes. So Double D was naturally the best option in this scenario.

You hurry over to his house in a rush, speedily avoiding the other cul-de-sac kids. You obnoxiously burst into his house and sprint up the stairs into his room only to throw open the door, startling the three boys. 

"What're you doing here kid?" Eddy questions

"Both of you, out!" You say, hand over your mouth

"What?" He asks, raising an eyebrow

You rush behind him and yank him up off the bed. You gather Ed up as well and shove them both out the door and shut it behind them.

"My, F/n was that necessary? You could've-"

"Scold me later!" You interrupt

You finally break down into tears and wipe your eyes. Double D straightens up quickly and walks over to you, briskly.

"F/n what's wrong?" He asks

You throw your arms around him and continue crying. Only now it's into his red shirt. The taller male flinches, wincing at this action. He would have to clean his shirt thoroughly afterwards. However, right now he needed to focus on the task at hand. Which was calming you down.

He pats your head lightly before wrapping his other arm around you. He brings you to his bed and you both sit down in front of each other.

"There, there." He says softly

"It's awful Double D! Just awful!" You hiccup

He can see something shiny peaking through the corner of your lips. He tilts his head. 

"Are.. Are those braces?" He asks

You cover your face with your hands and nod. He pats you on the shoulder a bright smile on his face. 

"Thats's wonderful!" He says giddily 

"No it's awful! Everyone is gonna judge me! They already think I'm weird!" You argue

"But F/n, think of how perfect your teeth with look! Why, I think this is quite pleasant news." He explains

You uncover your face and look up at his cheerful face. You sniffle, wiping what seems to be the rest of your tears.

"R-Really?" You ask hopefully

"Of course. Think of it in long term. They'll be off and you'll look as gorgeous as ever!" He claps his hands together

"Y-You think I'm pretty?" You question

The tall and lanky boy goes red in the face. He covers it quickly with his beanie. 

"Oh my, I didn't mean for it to come out that way! Please refrain from asking such things!" He squeals

You just smile brightly at him and lift his beanie up so you can see his face, despite his arguing, fighting and protesting. You peck his cheek. 

"Well, I think you're handsome Double D! I knew you could make me feel better!" You exclaim "Thanks so much."

Double D watches as you get up and walk away, unlocking and opening the door. The other two Eds fall inside, clearly originally leaning against the door to hear. You smile brightens as you leave.

Eddy looks up at a gushy version of his friend, who sits there, touching his cheek.

"Sh-She called me handsome.." He mumbles

"DOUBLE D LIKES A GIRL!" Ed exclaims

"bleh, she probably has cooties. Now quit your drooling and help me geT ED OFF OF ME!" Eddy's voice grows louder
