7. Miss You [Hyungwon]

A/N: i would be surprised if u guys read my author's note. I'm sure u guys are nice peeps right?😆 well, im sad people are sleeping on talent. Monsta X deserves better:(

You crossed your legs and munched onto potato chips while watching your favourite korean drama, The K2. You were always alone at home, both your parents weren't in Korea due to work which requires travelling around the world. You got used to staying independantly.

When the drama ended, you heaved in disappoinment. You didn't know if the male lead was gonna be alive. You dragged your feet to the kitchen and stored the potato chips inside the fridge. Afterwards, you washed your hand. While you were doing so, your eyes widened when a familiar song played on television. You immediately rushed to the living room to catch the music show.

Your lips curved into a smile when you saw Monsta X performing on stage. You watched like a proud mama, grinning from ear to ear due to their perfection in everything. Watching your friends and your boyfriend performing on stage was the happiest moment for you because that was the only way to see them. Yes, you and Monsta X are friends.

All of you met in school and at that time, Monsta X were trainees. You happened to eavesdropped on them regarding their identities and the time when they're gonna debut as you ambled by their classroom. They realised your presence and did anything for you just so you wouldn't reveal to anyone that they're trainees. That was how you and Monsta X became friends.

As the friendship builds up, you happened to have a mild crush on Hyungwon and so did he. As time went by, the both you fell in love with each other more deeply and ended up dating until today. He wasn't supposed to date anyone when he was a trainee so the both of you kept it a secret and rarely hang out. You understood his situation so you waited for him.

"Neon neomu yeppeo seulpeudorok areumdawo, too beautiful to handle."

You squealed when Hyungwon appeared on screen. He was so good-looking and his gaze was like staring into your soul. You melted. Now that they've became idols, you rarely meet up with them due to their busy schedule. Hyungwon had little rest as well so he couldn't make up time for you. Despite the distant relationship now, you and the rest never forget about each other.

All of you were like pillars for one another.

You hopped in place when the door bell rang. You furrowed your eyebrows and sauntered to the door. You unlock it and standing before you was a tall figure whom you recognise so much. Your eyes widened like an owl. Before you could say anything, he trespassed your house and pulled you into his arms. You missed him so much.

"I miss you, Y/N."

His voice sent shivers down your spine. You just couldn't believe his presence. Tightening your arms around his waist, you rested your head on his chest.

"Me too,"you smiled.

The both of you hugged for 10 seconds. Well, you miss each other a lot. When you tried to pull yourself away from Hyungwon, he hugged you even tighter.

"I don't want to keep you waiting for so long,"he pouted.

"I have patience, Hyungwon."

He loosened his arms onto you and pulled away from the hug. He cupped your face and scrutinized your facial features.

"You turn prettier,"he smiled.

You flushed in red and punched his arm softly in embarassment. He chuckled and held your hand, dragging you to the living room. He noticed his song was being played on television.

"Aww were you watching us?"he asked.

You nodded your head and sat beside Hyungwon, still holding each others' hand.

"Omo, I didn't know I was so good looking."

His eyes glistened with sparkles when he saw his face on screen. You chuckled and tidied up Hyungwon's hair. Just then, Hyungwon turned his head to you and looked down onto your lips.

"I miss kissing you,"he said.

Your felt butterflies in your stomach and you averted your gaze away from him.

"Well, I don't need your permission."

You heard him said that so you clicked your head to him in shock but he held your head and crashed his lips onto yours even before you could say anything. He always interrupts you. His hands snaked down to your cheeks, tilting your head up. The both of you never left each other's lip for more than 10 seconds. You pulled your lips away from him, gasping for air. He leaned his forehead onto yours and gasped too. As the both of you exchanged gazes, Hyungwon and you couldn't help but curved into a smile.
