101. See You Again [Kihyun]

a/n: hi everyone! recently i've been checking out jaebum from got7 and listening to their songs. prison life of fools made me interested in him. i actually came for seulgi and joy but ended up liking jaebum too. nothing related to monsta x but, fyi haha.

Heat of sunshine radiated outwards into the day, as if people were glowing under the summer. You wouldn't want to stand by the gate of your university, getting baked from head to toe but Yeeun was nowhere existent. You gave up on your long wavy curls and tied them up hastily into a messy bun as rivulets of perspiration dripped along your sideburns.

You spun on your heels and took into inventory the humongous university you were enrolling to. It was your first day there and fortunately, new students past the entrance trudged along with their luggages, all varied in sizes and atleast, you weren't out of place. A small smile crept across your lips as luck seemed to be helping you. Your desired major was in that university and a cute senior whom you were friends with in high school would be your senior again. Its like killing two birds with one stone.

"Y/N!!"your ears perked up by the high-pitch voice calling your name.

Yeeun jogged to you with her pastel pink luggage being dragged lifeless behind her. She screeched abruptly, scrutinizing you from head to toe when you turned your body to her.

"Y-you..."she stammered and couldn't seem to finish her sentence, awestrucked and flabbergasted by your 360 degree change.

Right, you were absolutely different than before. The transition from a young wild student to a mature woman was bouncing in Yeeun's skull from all direction. It's not like the both of you were separated for years but meet-ups were once in awhile so tidbits of transformation progressed overtime. Perhaps, being a law student changed you. She squeezed her eyes shut and flung them open, mouth agape.

"What the heck? You're prettier than me now."

You snickered and glanced onto your wristwatch. "Oh just look at the time. Very early of you,"you tapped onto the glass surface of your rose gold watch, the second hand ticking continuously.

Yeeun rubbed her nape sheepishly, apologising as she clung onto your arm. "Hehe, sorry. I couldn't choose what to wear but anyways, let's go in. I can't wait to see the school!"

You chuckled and rolled your eyes, pulling your luggage behind you. It was particularly obvious. It was only the moving day to the dorm but she was dressed up for a date; wavy brown hair resting on one side of her shoulder, a plaid sheath skirt with a slit at the side paired up with white off shoulder top. "More like you can't wait to see your boyfriend, Johnny."

Yeeun giggled with flushed red cheeks and dragged you by her side, finally stepping foot into the premise after a long wait.

The both of you dropped by a vending machine to buy mineral water. It wasn't at all surprising when Yeeun flicked more coins into the slot, pressing the button one more time to get water for Johnny when she had already bought one, the condensed water droplets dripping from her palms. You were fatigued by the scorching heat so you simply watched Yeeun gulp down water to hydrate herself as she led the way to the dorm, which you assumed you could rest your weak legs.

However, she stopped at the volleyball court and joined the crowd who were pumping their fists in the air and cheering for their so called "idols." Your jaw dropped to the ground in disbelief that she was distracted by a match which wasn't of her and your concern. Or maybe, you thought wrong when you stormed to her and followed her trail of gaze. Your eyes landed onto a tall muscular yet lean figure spanking the ball hard to the opponent's ground, flustering them with his strength and earning a boisterous fanchant and applause. You sighed as you figured it out; Yeeun stopped because of Johnny.
