Trees grew in their infinite patience, leaves breathing out oxygen and bathing in the same light as humans. You felt the movement of the wheels over the road, following the curves smoothly. A bus ride always indicated the start of your journey to work. There are those who chattered, blending their voices together in the sweet ritual of friends while some absorbed themselves in music and the familiar roads out there.

The bus halted by a stop and even more passengers boarded. You peeled your eyes away from the streets and looked at the residents, recognising a very familiar man whom you always meet in the bus. His head was almost reaching the roof because his proportions were that of a model. He grabbed the handrail and turned his head to your direction.

Your eyes widened abit by the eye contact but the tense expression faded when he flashed a small genuine smile and bowed his head slightly. In response, you returned his gesture by bowing as well before looking out of the window.

You were excited to finally work in a gaming industry where you are given opportunities to work with designers and at the same time producing the game according to the confirmed budget. The years of studying and the perseverance to pass the interview were finally beneficial to your dream career.

As the bus halted by a street with a wide avenue of neatly mown grass banks, well manicured trees and high-rise skyscrapers, you tapped your card and alighted from the bus. At the same time, the man who smiled at you got off at the same station. Usually, you would alight earlier than him so maybe perhaps his workplace was also around the corner. You shrugged and breathed in the air, causing your lips to curve upwards. 'I'm finally here,'you thought.

You walked on the smooth grey sidewalk, joining to the pedestrian crossing which separated into two sections. Once the red man turned green, the crowd flowed down the pedestrian crossing like a shoal of fish.

You tilted your head up to the tower which acted like a monument to the modern age, acres of glass strung together with shiny steel. It reflected light as well as any mirror and so incredibly the streets became brighter. That building was your path to your future.

"NeoGlow,"you read out the words on the entrance.

You took out your lanyard and wore it over your neck, squealing as you looked at your face and the name of the company you were working for.

"Here I come!"you skipped to the entrance and automatically, the glass doors slid open on both sides. The swift circulation of the cold breeze was refreshing since the day was scorching, ebbing the oppressive heat from your body.

In order to identify yourself as the new staff and confirmed your position, you headed to the front desk and introduced yourself. A petite woman with short black hair greeted you with the warmest smile she could give.

"Hi! I'm the new staff member. My name is Son Y/N,"you showed your card.

She looked at it briefly and diverted her attention to the computer screen afterwards to check the list. "Just give me a moment,"she said.

You nodded your head and waited for her to search for any information regarding your entry to that workplace. The company held attachments to various colleges and universities to attract new intake of young aspiring game designers and developers. It was competitive. Luckily for you, you weren't only experienced in developing a game and having an aesthetic talent in designing characters but you also learnt how to promote the game to more gamers and audiences. Therefore, you earned an extra point during the interview.
