Nari takes care of Seonghwa

Nari loved her boys, more than anything. She appreciated everything they do for her and does whatever she can to repay them for it. Hongjoong was always there to scold the others for teasing her too much and always showing her how she was just as much a part of their family as anyone else. Seonghwa made sure to always see a smile on her face, even when there were tears pouring down her face. Yunho never failed to make her laugh, even when he was feeling down. Mingi was always there to cuddle her when she was feeling lonely and make sure she didn't isolate herself when she wasn't feeling okay mentally. San, loves her like no other, and is always there for her no matter what, having her back and supporting her. Wooyoung is always making sure she feels beautiful, even if he has to tell her that a million times a day. Yeosang, even though they argued far too much for anyone's liking, was always by her side when she was feeling hurt and wouldn't leave it until she was feeling better. Jongho was always there to help Nari when he felt like she was being picked on or treated unfairly; she may be his noona but he is in no way, shape or form going to let her feel like she is less than amazing.

Nari needed them to know that she was there for them just as much as they were for her. She didn't care what time of day it was, where it was or who it was; she was always going to have their back. They welcomed her into their family, their group, their friendship and she would raise all hell to anyone who tried to rip them apart. Just like they were the first people to defend her, she would be the first to defend them, even if that meant she had to get physical. Sure, debuting was her dream, her goal to become one of the best rappers in the world, but keeping her family together, letting them know they were never alone is her life goal. It didn't matter if a year from now they had to disband, it didn't matter if 20 years from now they were too old to keep going; she had made it her ultimate life goal to never leave their side and always be a constant in their life.

Nari had noticed how Seonghwa had been hesitant the past few weeks. He was normally pretty quiet, even when he was talking, but he had been quieter than usual. Usually, he was open to sharing his opinions about a schedule for the group or a move in their choreography or something with the lyrics, but he hadn't done much of that lately, always just nodding and going along with what everyone else wanted. He would smile, but Nari could see that it never reached his eyes. She was worried but too nervous to bring it up. Usually Seonghwa was the one taking care of her and to see their oldest member struggling visibly was almost a foreign concept.

The light in his brown eyes was there, but it was dull and Nari feared that soon, it would burn out completely. She had tried talking with Hongjoong about it; after all, the three of them were roommates. Him and Seonghwa were close in age; if there was anyone Nari thought Seonghwa would go to when he was having a hard time, she thought for sure it would be their leader. However, Hongjoong informed Nari Seonghwa hadn't mentioned anything to him, but that he has noticed some subtle changes. He told Nari not to worry, that Seonghwa would come to them when he was ready. Nari feared that Seonghwa was never going to be ready. He wasn't the leader, but he was the oldest. She knew, even if he never said it out loud, that he felt he had to be an example for the younger ones. If that meant suffering in silence though, Nari wasn't having it.

She sat in her bed, leaning against the white wall that she had come to adorn with pictures from the past year of her and all the members. She smiled to herself, looking at the pictures around her, reminiscing on the memories before turning her attention back to her book. She had no schedules today and she was grateful as her knee was starting to bother her from all the moving around. She would never complain though, she loved her job but was grateful for the one day she would get to just relax. Everyone else had gone out to their schedules and she thought she was alone until she heard some dishes clinking together in the kitchen. She put her book down, silently, but safely making her way down from her top bunk. If any of the boys knew she snuck up there, they'd be livid.
