We show the X-men around Tønsberg showing them the same sights Loki had shown me when I arrived here. Currently we're at a beach side restaurant getting lunch. I'm brave today I've got an army of people I know with me so the strangers don't bother me all that much. It's a beautiful day and we all sit in an open air portion of the restaurant.

We ordered several pounds of crab legs, it's fairly cheap here because we're right by the ocean. Not that it matters, there's still plenty of Asgardian gold that was taken along and New Asgard is a wealthy country. I lead us over to a table with Kurt, Jubilee, Kitty, and Laura these guys had been my best friends for almost my entire time with the X-men. I know they will all at least be civil with Loki if not totally accepting.

His record is public knowledge, there's no reason for some of the X-men to be ignoring him but yet some are. I know part of it is that, in their opinion, nobody could ever be good enough for me. Loki's past gives them something to point their finger at for why they don't like him. It kinda pisses me off, it's not as if the X-men are all saints themselves. We talk about old times while we eat. My friends don't hesitate to share embarrassing stories about me.

A while into the meal Logan comes up holding two bottles of beer he smacks one down in front of Loki. I immediately recognize this as him trying to put out an olive branch. I don't think Loki quiet gets it. This will probably be the closest thing Loki ever gets to an apology for Logan attacking him. He looks at Logan then to me in confusion.

I tilt my head at the bottle as if to say go ahead and open it. I give him a small smile. My nonverbal communication is successful and Loki opens the bottle and begins drinking thus accepting Logan's olive branch. Logan sits down and makes himself at home. He takes a big swing thus sealing the new understanding made between the two men without any words exchanged.

Loki realizes that's what happened when Logan leans back in the seat near us and lights a cigar. For once his guard is down in Loki's presence. I see a smile form on Loki's lips. I can't help but smile too. I don't know what sparked Logan's change of heart but I'm glad he came around, even if they're never friends they at least aren't going to be angry at each other over that first fight anymore.

Some of the other X-men will see this and follow Logan's lead. Logan is known for being slow to accept anyone new. If he's made his peace with Loki and I being together some of them will come around too.

Later that afternoon we're sitting in the yard of the guest house, inevitability the topic of Mjölnir and how it works is brought up. It's currently sitting on a picnic table in front of me as I enjoy listening to some music on the radio and just being around people I love.

"There must be some logical explanation as to how only some can lift it."

Hank is inspecting the hammer closely. I look over at Thor who gives me a knowing smile.

"You can sure try it Hank."

Hank takes me up on the offer and attempts to move it unsurprisingly it doesn't budge. The other X-men notice him attempt this and soon they come over and ask if they can try. I give them all the go ahead. Kurt tries to grab the hammer then attempts to teleport away with it but his hands are just clasping empty air when he reappears.

"Verdammt! I thought I had it!"

Kurt pouts. Several others try all failing. Piotr comes up and tries powering up before trying to lift it. I move my legs out from underneath the table in case he breaks it. He tries, straining his metal muscles a bit, the table cracks and he stops.
