A Tale of Mischief and Mutants

Peter runs to his apartment with Thor then returns wearing a very crude looking suit. Being it was his first I assume he cobbled it together himself. We are all then dropped off on the site Thor leaving Stormbreaker on the Helicarier. We take defensive positions around the UN Security Council's headquarters.

We wait holding our positions. Suddenly an entire subway train is seemingly pushed up through the ground onto the road above. A hole is forced through the metal and Magneto steps out through it. Following closely behind are people who I assume to be members of the Brotherhood. When he sees us guarding the building he lifts up cars and lets them hover over civilians.

"I'm going to have to ask that you move my darling."

He's addressing Wanda. She looks at him with anger.

"I'm not your anything!"

"Oh but you are, and you know it."

"Sharing blood with you means nothing to me you did not raise me I am not yours!"

He honestly looks hurt by her words he also looks angry. The others ready themselves for a fight sure he's about to become violent. Luckily before he can take out his anger on the civilians he spots Sam.

"Samantha a moment if you will?"

She looks at him with a glare.

"I will not."

He looks at her and I sense he's not going to take no for an answer. I step in front of her then wanting to be in front of her if he turns his abilities on her. I send him a warning glare. He appears annoyed and waves his hand I let out a yelp as I suddenly find myself wrapped in metal wiring of some sort.

It's not that strong and I could easily break through it if it were only a few strands but there's so much of it that I can't. I try pushing against it telekinetically via exerting a great deal of my magic but he's obviously stronger than I am on that front too and I can't overpower him Magneto signals one of his acolytes.

"Lorelei please make sure he doesn't get out of that."

The woman nods and steps towards me I try using another spell to add even more force to break free but my attention is suddenly cut short by... singing? I suddenly find myself unable to move or concentrate on my magic as the mutant hums quietly, now standing next to me.

He lifts a large hunk of metal with a sharp edge up to my neck. Sam looks at me now obviously fearing for my safety. The rest of the group has paused now too, we really didn't have a clue as to just what we were dealing with. Sam is in tears now.

"Please! Please don't! What do you want?!"

"Simply to have a word with you child."

She nods tears streaming down her face.

"Ok just let him go... please."

"I will, I only ask that you come speak with me for a moment and that you listen."

She nods again. Magneto makes a metal platform beneath her feet and lifts her up hovering himself too, he shouts down to the members of the Brotherhood before retreating to a nearby rooftop with Sam.

"Toad, Pyro make sure the others don't do anything we'd all regret."

'Pyro?' But that would likely mean... I see a young man playing with a lighter as he nods up to Magneto. He's a pyrokenetic, Magneto likely doesn't even realize how much of a threat someone with abilities like that is to me. Pyro addresses the Avengers.

"Anyone moves I'll light em up!"

Thor looks extremely worried by this threat. I'm unconcerned with my fate though, Sam's just been taken away by Magneto all alone and there's nothing I can do to help her.
